Given that most young QB's would be struggling like AD, that implies you would rule out just about all young signal callers for the Rams.

It's a messy situation with the OL becoming unglued. We need a strong backup for Beetlejuice and a starting guard so GRob can slide permanently to LT. Schotty needs to tailor his play calling to maximize AD's strengths and mitigate his bad tendencies.

Uhhhh no. Those aren't Tavon's measurements. And I have no issue with running him up the middle...although I would like to see him get some shots at running off tackle or stretch plays mixed in.

Its all play calling. No one is being used to their strengths. Running Tavon up the middle is just one more reason the OC needs to be replaced.
I really can't believe just how bad the offensive coaching is now. How it can be allowed to continue is beyond me.

The kind of drugs that allowed me to watch Austin run up the middle in college and see that he had no issues surviving. The kind of drugs that allowed me to see Austin has had no issues this year running up the middle when asked to.

I am a lot less worried about Dontari Poe hitting Austin than him getting his clocked cleaned going over the middle by a guy like Kam Chancellor. Because Chancellor actually gets a running start. And yet I don't think anyone here is going to say that Austin should not be allowed to catch passes over the middle. He's a grown man. Not a fragile child. He'll be just fine. They had 300+ pound DLs in college. He survived them.
