The NFC playoff race is going to be incredibly tight as the season winds down. After today, Carolina is going to be at 9 wins, Atlanta at 8, and Detroit and Dallas can reach 7 each. You have to figure Eagles and Vikings will be 2 of the 6 spots, so that leaves 4 playoff remaining. Carolina's schedule is fairly easy going on in - Packers, Bucs, and Falcons - probably 2 wins at least, so that's 11-5. Falcons have to play Saints and Panthers, so maybe 1-2 more wins, so say 10-6. Saints have Jets, Bucs, Falcons, so maybe 2 wins, so also 11-5. The Rams have a tough remaining schedule, but 2 wins ought to be a wild card berth at least, in my thinking, maybe the division if one of those is over Seahawks and/or Seahawks drop a game to Jacksonville or Dallas. If division goes to Seattle, we'll be competing with two of the NFS South's teams for a wild card berth.
Worse case scenario, we go 1-3 and miss the playoffs at 10-6. Hate to even think that - actually still in shock a little we're talking playoffs again after what seems like an infinity.
Cool that the Rams control their own destiny.
I know it's one game at a time, but how do my ROD brethren see it going?

I feel we have to think division winner, the wild card fight is going to be to risky to rely on. We NEED a win today and pray for the Jaguars.

Enough worrying about the rest of the nfc. If the rams win next week they are in drivers sat for division. Don’t even want to think about if they don’t

Exactly. Winners think like winners. Losers think about how they can back in and just have a shot.

Take no prisoners! Crush the Hags and cause them doubt and fear.

Recent question about North Korea from a snowflake reporter to one of our generals:

“What keeps you up at night?”

General: “Nothing. I keep them up at night.”

The Jags really did the Rams a solid by beating Seattle.
Seattle is an amazing team. Capabale of a big play at anytime. Wilson had under 40 yards passing at halftime I believe and they ended up scoring 24 points.
Have to find a way to run the ball. Hopefully from the first game McVay will realize lateral running, bubble screens, jet sweeps etc don't work bs Seattle as they are too fast.
If Seattle has some guy(s) suspended I am running right at his spot over and over again.
I am also thinking about huddling and calling two plays at a time with a hand signal audible to help with crowd noise.
Huddle up, call the two plays. Run play 1 back to the line asap like the O does now. Run play 2 then huddle for play 2. Only thing with that is either simplifying a bit or McVey is going to have to have them ready to roll because it will take time in the huddle.
Just a thought.
