zero slot wr's and all tall cb's except for Callahan...

very few olinemen. whatever they plan on doing it will be done early in the draft..not many sleepers..ditto qb ..
where is the 4th DT unless they love Williams?
they have shown cb Miles a lot of interest

haven't seen rams connected with Tray Walker or Al-Hajj Shabazz but they have to be interested

I read some stuff on him. Sounds like he has a shot to make it as a guard. As I recall, he is rather athletic for his size, too.

Les Snead would be an elite tier GM if he finds another late-round player who can contribute like EJ Gaines in the draft.

I'd say without a doubt above average to say the least!

Not so sure if Snead is a genius or the other GM's are just that dumb, I remember a certain member here (@Athos) who nearly messed his pants 4th round on over that guy...turns out he was right.

As for the sleepers, would be nice to find a Div1 4 year starter flying under the radar for the interior line.

Gaines was my favorite pick from that draft. Still mystified he dropped to the 6th.

I'm with you. I had him as late 3rd to 4th round pick. Wanted the Rams to take him when he was still there in the 4th. Was shocked that he was still available in the 6th.

So, do you see these guys as after round 4? or some before that or all UDFA's?

Yeah, no clue as to how Gaines dropped. I was thinking about how nice it would be to get him in the 4th because I thought he was a 2nd round prospect!

I like both. Don't think either would be odd picks in the 4th/5th range. Williams would make a good rotational 4th DT for us. Mager has a lot of experience, good size and speed and is one of those CB/FS types you can move around. Would have to start his career as a special teams player but I think he could bring a lot more to the table than McGee.

I agree, there were a lot of Ram fans who had a 3rd or 4th grade on Gaines.
