Guess who used the Seacock parade tomorrow as an excuse to get a day off? Not that I'm attending. My boss knows I'm not a fan of that team.

As most of you know, my place of employment is right across the street from Century Link, where the parade will end tomorrow around 1:30. Imagine Game Day on steroids. Bruce Banner steroids.

The fans here are absolutely bonkers. Temps tonight are in the mid-20's, and some people are camping out to reserve a spot. The schools are calling any absences to attend the parade, Excused. Some work places are closing for the parade. Not mine. Hence the vacation day to avoid the mayhem.

I'm doing a rain dance for that area right now.

Maybe I should call it a sleight / ice dance in this case.

Count me among those who didn't know you were in perfect position to surreptitiously install sound deadening materials in that hell hole.

Enjoy the day off behind enemy lines Quix ,back here schools are closed so many of us are "off" as well, not my grandkids though they are delayed but still going to have classes.
