Falcons dump Garrett Reynolds

With Gabe Carimi in on the offensive line for the Falcons, Falcons offensive lineman Garrett Reynolds is out.

Reynolds’ agent, Chad Speck, announced on Twitter that Reynolds have been informed he’ll be released. A fifth-round pick of the Falcons in 2009, Reynolds (the nephew of former NFL linebacker Hacksaw Reynolds) signed a two-year, $2.587 million contract in 2013.

The move creates more than $1.3 million in cap space for the Falcons. Reynolds appeared in 15 games with a career-high 10 starts in 2013.

Makes sense. Worked with Boudreau before and seems like the kind of project they usually take on.

I hope that he isnt the answer to fixing the Oline. They need better than a guy that was replaced, with a guy that failed elsewhere.
