Do we know what Keenum can do? Should we give Davis another shot? I'm not sure they couldn't do better than Hill has lately. Hill is decent as a short-term vet backup, but doesn't look like an answer as a long term fill in for next season, imo. Snead has done well, but is unproven in QB eval skills. I'll be a little disappointed if they let Hill finish the season with the playoffs now out of the picture. Need to see if there is any reason to possibly keep either Davis or Keenum around for next season. My future passion for Rams football depends on this FO getting the OL and QB situations fixed. Love the improved D, but its not enough. I'll still watch, but can't get excited if they can't fix the O. We need some winning seasons and playoff victories. I can't take much more losing. I don't have 1/2 the fortitude of a Cubs fan. Also, the NFL needs to fix their officiating problems. I can't take much more of that shit either.

They're going to finish it out with Hill unless he gets hurt. Then Davis.
Keenum doesn't have enough experience in the system, so we won't see him unless something catastrophic happens.

Whats common between keenum, Davis and Hill? None of them has a rocket for an arm.

Why? Those guys are worse than Hill. And Hill actually is a decent back up.
Considering Hills performance last night I find it hard to determine which Qb is "better" ,I think we could have put more pressure on AZ if we'd run from the QB position a little more last night and Davis could have been better suited for that, Hill running 5-10 times a game ?Not at his age.
With a clean pocket Hill's pretty good , and Davis isn't the greatest under pressure but he can run more and the runners have given us fits .

That said if we bench Hill again ,we have decided not to bring him back IMO he wouldn't come back.

We should try Davis again. No way he folds under that pressure where Hill had no TOs and even recovered a fumble. No way. Davis will be awesome. Let's do that.

OMG, did you say Davis isn't the greatest under pressure!?!? Are you referring to his 6 pick sixes or his TOs being greater than his TDs? LOL.

I agree, let's stick with Mr 6 points for the rest of the season.

Hill wasn't his best Thursday night, but that happens to all QB's. Besides, the whole O wasn't at its best.

Hill is 3-2 as a starter.

He's our best option.

better meaning he can throw the ball in a straight line not a rainbow, not throw 2 pick 6s a game and Hill actually has some mechanics where idk wtf Davis is doing. Davis was a one trick pony who threw a ball down the field and hoped our big receiver caught it.

Hill, theoretically, allows us to operate our offense at all depths. Britt has been seeing the ball more and has become a player that must be resigned because of it. I've read some posters here say that Keenum is comparable to Davis in arm strength, but at this point you might want to see what you have.

I don't think I'd try Davis again. I'm curious to see what Keenum can do, but not really too worried about it. It would be nice to see if he has a little accuracy. But I've no problem staying with Hill.

there is too much still on the line to put Davis or Keenum in.

If I were to make a change it would probably be for Davis.
AD now has some real in game experience and has been pulled in favor of Hill which has given him an upfront opportunity to assess what went wrong. Davis can address his shortcomings by watching as a front row spectator with a lot more experience and understanding under his belt. He knows the game plan and can witness first hand why Hill is succeeding or not. May just be a great time to see what kind of student he is and how his past troubles can be countered by his recent experience with time to reflect and take in the game from the sideline with a lot more real experience.
Thanks for the Topic @Ken

The Rams are out of the playoffs. Yes, they want to win still, but the biggest reason to stick with Hill is if they want to bring him back (which is up to him, btw). If they want to upgrade anyway, I'd like to see Keenum. He likely isn't the solution either - but he's had all season to learn the playbook, it would be nice to see if he is possibly a solution. And while I always want the Rams to win, if the Rams lose a game they would have won with Hill (dubious) that just improves the draft pick. If Keenum looks good enough, they have more options going into next season.

It's amazing now that Case Keenum who's not even on the 53 man roster is in on the conversation. Keenum is shorter and lighter than Davis so no thanks never thought much of him anyway. Agree with @CGI_Ram, Hill is 3-2 and although IMO Hill gives the Rams a better chance to win then Kellen Clemens against teams like the Cardinals and Seahawks the Rams will continue to come up short although they missed a golden opportunity on Thursday night against the Cardinals who's QB was on a similar level, but the Cards beat the Rams in the trenches.

What does a rocket arm have to do with anything? There have been lots of amazing QB's with noodle arms. Peyton Manning looks pretty good to me even though he throws duck farts. Arm strength is so overrated, in regards to QB attributes. It's MUCH more important to be accurate and understand concepts, reads, etc.
