I liked this from another poster in another electronic place:

Wow. I think I blocked the whole thing out (Seattle game).

A few things really stood out to me in this game.

1. #55 is really average. There are times it makes me really, really nervous. He plays behind a very good, if not great defensive line....and he is almost always out of position and left to dragging people down from behind. Despite the big contract, I gotta believe they are looking at a MLB in the draft next year.

2. Stedman Bailey is a stud. The game is not too big for him.

3. Pettis gets a bad rap. He has good hands

4. McLeod isn't as bad as everyone says. Just not a starter.

5. They were holding Robert Quinn on nearly EVERY play in this game. It was TERRIBLE.

6. Janoris Jenkins looks bored if he isn't playing man to man, bump & run type coverage

7. Tim Walton HAD to be fired.

8. This team makes the Hawks uncomfortable. I think they do more to make the Hawks uncomfortable then the 9ers do.

9. Barnes, Smith and Williams were absolutely TERRIBLE in this game. They were in WAY over their heads.

10. Brockers is under rated; I'm picking him to come on strong this season.

11. I'm freaking THRILLED with out draft this year after watching this game. We needed Robinson badly....and Donald is going to give teams hell.

12. Ogletree has frightening talent....if he harnesses it.....he is a future DPY

13. My god Kellen Clemons was awful in this game.

Clemons was awful in both Seahawks games, it's funny because against the Saints he was pretty damn good so he has it in him, just never consistent enough to be a starter.

What was the O line in that game? Saffold/Smith/Barnes/Williams/Barksdale? Only one player from the 2014 starting O line playing in position.

The Quinn holding was ridiculous as was the Langford ejection, I genuinely have no idea if they are instructed to favour certain teams (i.e. which ever team is playing the Rams) or if they are just that damn incompetent. I fucking hate officials.

This is from my good friend Stacey (Rams49) who lives in Seattle.

He's a long time Ram fan who's pretty good with his analysis too.

My take was that they were in no way mentally prepared to play that game.

Between Long's injury, all the mental miscues and just sheer dumb agression that led to a sea of flags, the fact that they had already been eliminated from the playoffs...it just kinda looked to me like they wanted to pop someone in the mouth and go home.

I'm not reading too much of anything in this game.

From the defense's point of view, it looked like the Carolina game all over! Frustration with the refs led to the penalties/edge Seattle had on them. Hope we don't see that again!:mad::mad::mad:

I just remember we couldn't run the ball for nothing....I'll reserve comment for a lot of that for another day...It's a new season, maybe some of these guys have improved....

Let's not forget they called Laurinitis for taunting. Think about that for a moment. Taunting! Taunting? Taunting?!

Officials should get paid by the percentage of correct calls / non-missed calls. Straight commission.

I agree with it all. Snisher were looking hard at Mosely this year. They had interst. How good would this D look with Kuechly in the middle.

One thing stands out to me: The Rams front 7 outplayed Seattle's O...and that bodes well for 2014. I think if the Rams can put up 17 points, they will beat Seattle next year. Putting up 17 will mean good field position and a fumble recovering, and no mistakes on O...possible....1999 was possible.

You can't hint at good comments, and then not comment. This isn't the Senate! :)

Or that Bobby Wagner...or Lavante David? Or.....

You think a former SEC player as GM, a former Pac-12 player as coach, the SNISHER, don't realize what they need on defense? Man, I just look at the athletes they bring in.....writing is on the wall.....Ray Ray not play? Why.....?????

This particular game has been permanently removed from my short term digitalized and polarized memory. Seriously fuckin bullshit officiating and we started and finished like mop duty on an all floor porn orgy.

Playing to the whistle isn't dirty football! Quitting on a play gets you cut! Refs calling BS penalties is dirty football!
