SEATTLE -- Seismologists say Seahawks fans shook the ground under Seattle's CenturyLink Field during Saturday's defeat of the New Orleans Saints, causing another fan-generated earthquake.

The scientists believe the small earthquake during a Marshawn Lynch touchdown was likely greater than Lynch's famous "beast quake" touchdown run three years ago, which also came against New Orleans during a playoff game.

John Vidale of the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network (PNSN) at the University of Washington told The Seattle Times they will know for sure in a few days.

PNSN posted graphs during the game through its Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Fans jumped and stomped their way to magnitude 1 or 2 earthquake in 2011 during Lynch's rambling, tackle-breaking "beast quake" run.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

From how far out? Just outside the building? Lol
According to MapQuest, it's 5.75 miles from CenturyLink to the University of Washington (PNSN).

You hear it all the time, and this just proves that that stadium must really suck to play in.

If they are causing measurable earthquakes at 5.75 miles away, they must be weakening that place structurally every game.

Too bad they can't relocate the stadium a little closer to Mount Rainer.
