Anyone catch the Giants/Jets game? The one where Geno Smith was being handed the starting job as long as he didn't completely suck...and he proceeds to throw 3 first half interceptions.

So what does, I assume, the GM do? Forces Sanchez into the game with the scrubs in the 4th quarter. Ryan says it was all his decision but he's just in denial thinking no one will notice he's the biggest lame duck there ever was. So Sanchez gets pummeled because of horrible blocking and injures his shoulder.

I guess that takes care of the so-called competition. What a train wreck the Jets will be this year and for years to come if that GM has anything to do with it. I'm no Sanchez fan but that's about the lowest BS I've seen from a team in a while.

Yeah Sanchez should ask for a release,take a year off and try again.
Rex Ryan is as bad as the GM easily.

I think it's amazing the difference between the NY franchises, the Giants are all class, the Jets are all mouth, yet the fans still love the Jets, must be descended from Cubs fans :omg:

And I wouldn't want to either, quite honestly.

That's actually a good idea for next year. I mean, no team is going to give him a big contract to be a starter, but he's a big step up from Clemens and Davis.

The people saying Geno Smith sucks after 1 preseason game sound as dumb as the people saying Tavon Austin was a bust after 1 preseason game.

Its freaking preseason, people need to get a grip.

As far as Mark Sanchez goes, come on man. He has the lowest QBR of ANY QB IN THE HISTORY OF THE NFL who has been a starting QB for 4 years. Yea, let that sink in.

Well man I love havin you here and admire your loyalty to your man Geno, but this isn't ONE pre season game ,it's game 3 and so far he doesn't look like a top draft choice to me.

Tavon looked awesome last night lets agree about that and agree to disagree about Geno, I'll go a step further and say, IMO as long as Rex Ryan is there , Sanchez and Geno both will suffer image wise because their coach is a jackass who makes a fool of himself most every time he gets hold of a microphone.
If I were the owner ,I'd fire him and keep the other two.

Didja hear the commentators last night say, since Shottenheimers been gone ,Sanchez has looked his worst ? Poor coaching is reflected more at the QB position than anywhere on the field.
