No reason I should get the best game of the day(by far), especially when I can ignore the Faders against Mother Penelope's school for wayward girls...What a flaming fuck job (sans the happy ending)..Guess I can peruse the Hags-Whiners on TV hoping for an epic upset while I stream the Rams...I'm really, really pissed off about living in the Faders/Whiners viewing area...

You could also argue that the lack of rhythm and time on offense lead to the D breaking down. In the second half the offensive drives were 5 plays, 3 plays, 5 plays, 3 plays, and 13 plays. The D had no chance to rest.

Great defenses get themselves off the field. In the playoffs you're gonna get into games where your offense does nothing and you have to be able to keep the other team off the field when that happens. Even our great offense in '99 had that type of game vs Tampa, and it was our defense that kept us in that game long enough for the offense to score that big TD.

Truth is our defense let us down in that game. They didn't finish on too many plays, letting Case escape and look like Steve effin Young. They did play well for much of the game, but in a matchup where the offense came up short the same could be said about our defense. And yes, I know, our secondary was banged up, but still that was a team loss, with the Rams losing on both sides of the ball.

I agree. That was kind of my point. Both sides came up short. I was responding to a post stating that because the D couldn't get off of the field the offense couldn't get in sync. I think both statements are true.

Ok..We need two offensive TD's and one Pick Six TD in the first quarter today, so I can enjoy the game to it's fullest.
Make that happen, McVay

Let's get Gurley going and run them Aints over!

Goff should also shine today.
Score early and often and make their run game irrelevant

I'm throwing caution to the wind today

Had to put the flag up outside the house. Took it in last week when winds were blowing about 30-40 MPH.

Today they are blowing about the same, but need that good luck charm flapping in the breeze

Josh Reynolds is on the field catching passes from Jared Goff. Could he be the guy to take Robert Woods' place. He'd line up alongside Sammy Watkins and Cooper Kupp, and it would allow Tavon Austin to be used as a backfield threat. Still, most targets would go to Watkins and Kupp (and Todd Gurley).

Justin Davis in, Lance Dunbar out for #Rams

I am actually lookin forward to seeing Davis in this offense. Hopefully limited snaps of course, but as long as he can keep that ball high and tight and not put it on the ground he should have a chance to make an impact. Dude has real nice burst through the hole, just that ball security that concerns me.

I temporarily changed my avatar to Reverend Kane to bring us luck but realized that it was a wrong move - and may do us more harm than good -- and in fact maybe it is my Captain Ron avatar that is the true reason we are having such a great season.
so i switched it back

i'm insane, thanks Rams

I honestly have to stop and look when I see your Avatar because I think it's Chris Long
