Today being the first day of the 2016 NFL league year, we have "reset" the ROD cash system.

Like last season, this reset is to generate fun with the cash system and we'll crown the "richest member" at the end of the 2016 league year.

For 2015, our richest member was... @jrry32 with $119,616

Our richest admin was @RamFan503 with $2,411,065

Feel free to brag, fellas!

Dollars are earned through forum activity and SportsBook wagers. Among ways to earn dollars;

Start a new thread: $50
Post: $20
Participate in a poll: $20
Like received: $10
Receive a reply to your thread: $10
Give a like: $2
Rounding issues: $1 (can't seem to figure them out)

To get started; everyone has $1000.

Cheers!

Oh brother...

All those values are the same as last year, brother! :sneaky:

Only changes;

Receiving a like has been increased from $5 to $10.

Receiving a reply to a thread you've started $10.

Reminds me of high school. I earned most of my money $2 at a time back then.

So don't go puffing your chest out there @jrry32. I could have bought and sold you 20 times. :fighting: :snicker::hiding:

:LOL:

You should share how you made that much, with some good SportsBook wagers.

You mean my whole two wagers during the year?

I bet the farm on the Rams to go into the land of eternal rain and punk them out right at 5.5 to 1 odds and then bet it all on the nags to win the Superbowl. Don't remember the odds on that one but the puddycats were fairly heavy favorites. It gave me a reason to watch a Superbowl where I really didn't care about either team. So basically high risk, high reward wagers.

It was nip and tuck. I could have been destitute at any moment - walking the streets of ROD begging for scraps.... y'know - like @Mojo Ram - no value, no self worth, a man with no shame - no dignity, just posting worthless crap for a quick buck when I could be out doing a little research and truly bettering my situation. Man - glad I didn't end up like him. :snicker:

That's what I wanted you to share.

You killed some Sportsbook wagers. A good example of how to play the ROD $.

How about next year if you post a new thread that gets no responses and no likes - you lose $50? Let's promote quality - not just quantity!

That's good feedback, 12.

As you picked up, the rules are set to encourage participation. Topics and discussion are why we are here. New topics and replies keep the conversation active.

But, point taken. We try to moderate this concern.
