CBS Sports’ Rob Rang joined Kevin Wheeler to talk about the NFL Draft being pushed back and if that trend will continue, how has it affected the players, teams, etc.? They also talked about what stood out from the draft, the Rams and how they did, and why with some consistency at QB the Rams can really compete in the NFC West. Rang really loves what the Rams did in the Draft.

He made sense to me.

Interesting point about refs not calling Pass Interference in the playoffs. That's gives power running teams an edge.

What do people here think about his comment (around 7mins into audio) that one way to beat the NFCW long-press corners is thru a quick-short-route runner like Tavon Austin?

Except that Tavon was more affective running trick plays and deeper routes. But Amendola did a nice job of frustrating the NFC West.

We didn't use Austin like we did Ammendola, though. We sent Danny over the middle all the time. They obviously didn't wanna expose Tavon.

They tried it in the beginning. But the suggestion is that is the way Tavon should be used.
