I have an Adam Archuleta jersey. That's probably the closest.

Me too!

I don't buy any current jerseys anymore. I do buy t-shirts (NFLshop.com) has them where you can customize them and have any player on there - so I'll spend $30 bucks or so on a t-shirt, but never a jersey again. In fact, I was on there today messing around with an Aaron Donald one.

I will only buy retired jerseys or college jerseys from now on. No chance they can switch teams!!

Years ago my wife surprised me with an authentic road jersey. She thought it would be cool to get a road jersey for me to wear to the game I was going to in Jacksonville. This all sounds really cool right?

Well,,, I was very excited as I was opening this surprise... Then, the unthinkable happened.

When I pulled this expensive beauty out of the box, she was simultaneously telling me in a very excited voice, "You can wear this to the game in Jacksonville!".

That's about the exact moment when I realized it was a Bulger jersey. She thought for sure that I'd be happiest with the QB's jersey. What a surprise THAT was. (For the record... I literally hated Bulger)

Guess what I wore to the Jax game. :palm:

Does she know about it now, and does she know the fate of that jersey?

Hahaha

I concealed the truth for a good period of time. Probably 3 years. But the guilt was unbearable.

The complete destruction of that baby helped me make it through the Spags Era semi sane. She knows almost everything that was done to it.... almost. Half of the shit I did to it she really wouldn't want to believe... but it helped me, so I did what I needed to do. LOL

I did wear that fucking thing into the stadium in Jax. I was just waiting for the endless commentary from the jaguar faithful... but I am fairly sure that the scowl on my face served as a serious warning to innocent people letting them know that I ain't fucking right, and it's probably best not to start shit with anyone who is actually willing to wear a Bulger jersey into enemy territory.

She will never buy me another.

Thank GOD

Not a Rams, but I can't believe I bought a Miles Austin jersey. He had ONE good year, and apparently hamstrings CAN be made out of toilet paper.
@Rynie with you being a cowboy fan I would expect you to regret all of your jersey purchases.

Not a Rams jersey but one of my sons has a Randy Moss Raiders jersey. It is actually one of his favorites I think because it's so wonky.

Hmmm. I have the Everett jersey in my Avater (still), although my girlfriend had my last name added in place of ol' Jim's. I got that in probably 90?? So essentially that was his last good year in LA. Next jersey I bought was when they went to the new ones in 2000, and it was my fave player of all time....Faulk. Next was Holt (81) and then Bradford. I actually have 3 Bradford jerseys, so I am responsible for all of his/our woes as of late. No regrets, but deepest apologies.

Haha!

Yeah, I have a Joe Klopfenstein autographed wooden football. Pretty much a piece of firewood now.

Matt Bowen. I think it was #37, (that sucker didn't last very long)? I will never regret it but I still have my 84 jersey (DX).

I think my new one will #33, Gaines, at least that is what I asked the wife for for Christmas.

That's why you wait until a player signs a contract extension. I have Jackson and Quinn.

Nothing worse than a buddy of mine who bought an official McNabb Skins jersey :snicker:
