How's it going, everyone?
I was born and raised in LA and became a Rams fan at an early age. Left LA in 98 and lived a few year in the Bay Area before moving to STL in 2005. For most of my career, I've worked in the payroll and HR field, both in and out of IT. I currently work for Enterprise here in STL. Been married for 26 years come this August and have two kids, ages 13 and 19. My 13 year old is going into her sophomore year at The Ohio State University.

My all-time favorite Rams are Jack Youngblood and Nolan Cromwell (although recent coaching experience has dampened that a bit). I'm the proud owner of one of Jack's jerseys that's been in my family since somewhere around 1978. I'll be sporting it at the throwback jersey games again this season. If you see me there, say "Hi".

I am almost exclusively a lurker. So, don't expect much in the way of posts. I prefer to enjoy the contributions of others.

I'm a HR guy too. Welcome aboard!

IT'S ME BITCHES!!!!!!!!!!

Aight now that I got that out of my system.......

My Christian name is Doug. I have been lurking around X's sites for a few years now and missed the draft this year with the fellas.

I am a father of 4, two boys two girls and grandfather of one. I work for the State of Indiana as an engineer for the DoT. I started rooting for the Rams in 1967 following them from LA to Anahiem to St. Louis. If they move again I will follow them there. Like my man X, I have endured through many poor showings by our boyz.......in fact I did a 12 year stint in the belly of the beast.....SF Bay area.......before moving to where I reside today.....Indiana.

Come this fall I will either be fishing or watching the Rams.

See y'all there!

Peace,
RF4L

I'm Garth Fisher MD and have been a devout Rams fan since the late 60s. Like everyone, my world stopped to enjoy the GSOT days, especially after the pathetic 90s. I trained in surgery at UC Irvine 1/2 mile from Anaheim stadium. I went to all the games and often took care of injured players that were brought to the ER. My future partner gifted me his 50 yard line seats he had held for decades. My excitement was quelled quickly as they moved to St louis. :( however DirectvTV is the BEST!! I wish I had that as a child when it was impossible to get coverage.
I am currently friends with many players, owners, and have excellent relationships with the top orthopedic surgeons in the country who operate on many of the elite Atheletes and cross refer to me. I am a plastic surgeon in Beverly hills for 25 years, have been married to many times lol, and have 2 wonderful little girls with an ex wife who became friends with Kurt Warner on the Dancing with the Stars show. I collect a lot of memorabilia but love all my KW jerseys the best. I believe the Rams will be better this year but the best years for us will be 2015-2018 and Bradford will be the QB.

Awesome! Can't wait to read about your interactions with some of these guys, and your insight on their injuries.

Welcome!

Hi everyone,

My name is Pino and I live in Vancouver, Canada. I have been a Rams fan since 1979 when I was a teenager. My favourite players were Vince Ferragamo and Eric Dickerson. I loved watching the Greatest Show on Turf as well and it was nice to see our Rams finally win a Super Bowl. I am a Realtor in Vancouver and I enjoy playing golf, watching our Rams play and also watching hockey (Vancouver Canucks are my favourite team). Nice to be on this site and reading about all things Rams. Ciao.

Hi everyone

Welcome to the ROD Vince! (y) :welcome:  :sup: :lifting: :seizure:
You've come to the right place if you're looking for some great talk about the Rams. We have some of the finest football minds on the web. Plus there's the other guys on the board besides me. Glad to decided to join our community.

We use blue font when we're just joking around so if you come across something in that font color don't take it at face value. ;)

Without community service, we would not have a strong quality of life. It's important to the person who serves as well as the recipient. It's the way in which we ourselves grow and develop.

My name is Jeff and I'm from San Jose, Ca. Right smack in the middle of the Niner Hive. As a matter of fact, their new stadium is two miles from where I sit, as the crow flies. Oh, and I've been a Ram fan since 1970.

I'm a veteran of many Rams boards going back to the mid 90's. Along with all the flame wars both with other Ram fans and those from other teams. I dove into those head first, but after this last one, I'm tired of the acrimony, the petty bullshit and I graduated from Jr. High in 1974. So I've decided to try this one. It looks a little busy, but not like the Herd, which I consider an insane asylum. Or maybe Borg Cube would be a better description of that place.

I'm looking for something better here, more to talk Rams, NFL football and have a few laughs without taking things too seriously (save for perhaps a good post-game rant!). I recognize some names here, too.

Oh, and I notice this place has a chatroom.

Welcome Jeff. I lived in San Jose, CA from the early 60's until 94. It is indeed a hive of 49ers fans among other cretins. :sneaky: I miss Los Gatos, Santa Cruz, Monterrey, and Carmel by the Sea but the rest of it they can keep. Hope you like it here. It's well organized and fairly moderated.

20 years on from San Jose? It's changed quite a bit since then. However, Gatos (where I pretty much grew up), Santa Cruz and anywhere south, I agree with you. Not much has changed in those places and my wife and I love cruising the 1 between Half Moon Bay and SC.

I was a beach bum back in the day so those are my best memories of that place. My younger brother lives in Valencia and my son just moved to N. Hollywood. We co-own my late mother's house in Campbell, right off of San Tomas Aquino road and Campbell Ave, so I might end up moving back there one day. I don't miss the horrendous traffic jams and all the crazy that goes with that.

Know exactly where that is. Two new (older, now) freeways. 85 and 87. Outside of rush hour, it's much easier to get around.

By the way- I poked around and didn't see a TOC. And I noticed a language filter is in place. So I need to watch that?

The language filter is optional. If anyone is offended by language posted here they can turn that on. If they don't care then they can leave it off.

Or if the creative substitutions for language amuse them, they can turn it on.

Thanks, Thor- They reconstituted the Huddle- followed by one hellacious smackdown of epic proportions. Acutally, the Buzz was pretty good over the last year. Had a lot of fun, especially on Game days. But I think it's going to be a small group. Too small. No dis on those guys, at all, but I'd prefer a middle ground site. This looks like the place.

What went down there, if you care to elaborate?

Btw on your earlier comment on driving Highway 1, don't get me started. Ever party at 4 Mile beach? :) To be young again and driving that stretch of road on a sunny day in my 61 Austin Healey with the top down and not a care in the world. Oh, to be young and stupid again.

For those of you haven't made that journey down Highway 1, here's a glimpse.
