Okay, the doldrums between OTA'a and training camp are taking their toll. The slowdown in football news is killing me! So, to occupy my mind I've gone into full blown planning mode for the 12/23 game in TPA.

For those of you who have been to that stadium before, how are the sight lines? Typically I prefer seats not too close to the sidelines so I can see the entire field, but I'm not a big fan of the "miniature" football that I have sometimes seen from upper decks.

Any input you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Do any of you already have tickets or know in which section you will be seated?

Well I've heard there are numerous strip clubs in the area to help "complete" you experience :cheese:

Never been there, but I think we should put together a pool and entrust someone to purchase all the tickets so that we're all in the same section. Strength in numbers, and all that. Anyone who has a paypal account would be fine, and I'm not suggesting me either.

There really isn't a bad seat in the house.

My favorite seats were the ones I had last year ... section directly behind the Ram bench in the last row. Those weren't the cheapest by any means, but not that bad either.

I really like the idea of buying a bunch of tickets so we can all sit together. I'm not really concerned with getting seated in any particular section if we can do that.

Thor... There are strip clubs a-plenty in very close proximity if that is something you're looking for. LOL

Re: Raymond James Saduim

I'm all for putting together a group of Rams fans in the same section! I do not have a paypal account but if need be would sign up for one. Group tickets are on sale right now! So long as we have at least 10 people interested we can go ahead and secure our seats together and only pay face value.

I would in for two and would prefer 3rd level seating near midfield, but would be open to other options.

Yeah, but this is an "anniversary trip". Probably will not be visiting any of those establishments. :sly:

Group seats would be cool but may be hard to find in a good location. I don't mind upper deck if you are talking the first 5 rows. And I definitely hate anything below the first 20 rows in lower section due to 6'5" gargantuans blocking your view and the crown of the field. Picky aint I? Group tickets sound good though. And I wouldn't know anything about Tampa's strip clubs, cough (Space Odyssey 2001), cough.

True story:

I never went to a topless joint until I took my best friend to one for his 53? birthday, we went to a casino where I won enough to pay for the tickets at the $25 blackjack table in about 15 minutes then to Rams Giants game then to the "east side" to a strip club. It was my first ever trip.
That would have been about 6 years ago.
Previous to that can't remember the guys name but Alabama had fired a HC before he ever coached a game because he took recruits to a ta-ta bar. I declared THEN that I was the leading candidate for the Alabama HC job ,cuz I was the only guy over 25 in the country who knew anything about football and hadn't been in a ta- ta bar.
Apparently they found another guy withthe same BFOQ's,cuz I didn't get the job. :grr:

No, it was in the Lou and I think it was Linehan's first year,I'll look it up.
Probably two times total in a topless bar, generally around here the JV is all there is anyway and I just don't see the utility in paying to see what I can't touch.
Edit: it was Sept 14 2008 and therefore my freinds 55 birthday and Linnies last year. There had been a terrible storm the night before
It was such a blowout we left early for the casino and titty bar (didn't know if the board censored the word till you used it).

I haven't been to one in a long time.

You should know that several of the establishments in Tampa do "allow" touching. Just thought I should throw that out there .

Clubs where they let you touch ,that brings upa subject, ever notice how the girls clean up the pole before they "dance" ,think maybe they aught to have patrons use hand sanitizer, I mean there ARE possible "locations" those hands coulda been that'r sorta .................objectionable.

Saduim is what you get when spell check doesn't extend to the subject line. :p

The really sad part is, I read 3 of these responses and still didn't catch it. :nono:

Me too. Funny how your mind works. It sees what you expect to see instead of what is actually there. Like when I did recognize "stadium was missing a "t", my mind processed it as such and I didn't even realize the "i" and "u" were in the wrong order because my memory was processing how the word is actually spelled. Whew, I need a blunt! :lmao:
