Let's think logically, here. Rodger must have taken into account that his wife was being a *bad word* and understood. Rodger remembers having to put a few in their place back in the day. He wasn't gonna do anything until someone advised him he need to do "a little something." Boom, two games.

His wife needs a good shake more like it, maybe it'll jog her brain and make her realize her long lost self respect, pressing no charges and then begging Goodell to be easy on him. I know that abuse victims almost always rationalize it as something they deserve, but Christ. You gotta help put the guy in his place or he'll never learn.

Fuck Goodell. And fuck Gettleman too for letting Hardy go off without so much as a warning. The NFL needs to make the penalties on abuse much harsher than they currently are. I say a full one-year suspension from all football-related activities without pay. Hit those cowardly fucks directly in their wallets.

Oh, and all money that they make from endorsements/whatever goes directly to charities dedicated to helping victims of abuse. No ifs, ands, or buts.

I'm sorry but this is way way too lenient. Something has to be done about Rodger and his favoritism. Schereth today said the 2 games suspension my be because he has to deal with Irsay suspension soon, and Goodell has repeatedly said that he holds Owners and coaches to a higher standard of conduct than he does players. Which almost say tome Irsay is going to get 4-6 games
