Ray Lewis to host show about coaches with anger issues

In news oozing with irony so obvious it’s not worth spilling the electronic ink, former NFL linebacker Ray Lewis will host a new show about coaches with anger-management issues.

Coaching Bad will debut on Spike in the first quarter of 2015 with an eight-episode season. Lewis and Dr..Christian Conte will work with nine coaches who recognize a need to change their “combative and often bombastic ways.” (And by bombastic, that may or may not include exaggerated, self-aggrandizing introduction dances.)

“Who better than Ray to bestow insight and wisdom to these coaches after his storied career as a leader on and off the field during his playing days with the University of Miami and Baltimore Ravens?” Spike TV executive V.P. of original series Sharon Levy said in a press release.
