Sam Bradford will play his first game this weekend - albeit a preseason one - since tearing his ACL last year. Here's a look at that as well as what else is happening around the Rams.

Playbook No Longer Spanish to Tavon | NFL.com

While legendary Ram Torry Holt might not be impressed by him, Tavon and Coach Fisher aren't concerned. They have big plans for him - again - but will likely hold those plans until the regular season - again.

Stacy Leads Crowded Backfield | StLToday.com

Stacy has gone from a "chicken with it's head cut off" as a rookie to a "rooster, running around the yard like back home in Alabama" (his words...not mine) this year in camp. If competition truly is a good thing at RB, the Rams are in a good spot this year.

Won't delve too much into it as Brandon Bate covered it earlier this week, but the Rams suddenly have 3 players competing for the final TE roster spot.

Unsurprisingly, the GSOT core holds 4 of the 5 spots. While Torry Holt deserves to be on this list, it's hard to argue putting him in front of Bruce or SJ39.

If (MAJOR if) the talent on the Rams O roster comes to fruition it could tough to stop. The idea of have big, fast, physical WR like Britt and Quick running defenders off and Austin left to be matched up with LBs is great stuff. If a D wants to shift and go dime or nickel as a base D we should have the O line to pound the ball.
I keep harping on this but the key is Shotty. Can he find effective ways to use his options in a way that maximizes their effect and skills?
I don't know if he is capable or not. Can he adjust in game? Martz for all of his wizardry had a hard time adjusting in game.
Britt, Quick, Austin, Bailey, Cook, Kendricks, Stacy, Cunningham and possibly others (Bayer, Pead) gives teams a lot to consider. Is the development of these guys legit or preseason hype? If if is legit and the O does not become predictable there is no reason we cannot knock off a SF....who also possess a lot of options on the O but with an approach that leaves something to be desired.
Fisher wants this team to be relentless. The D should have that capability now lets hope the O isent far behind.
