Rams, Don’t Beat the Rams

In most NFL games, playing a clean contest with minimal penalties, turnovers, missed field goals and blown coverages is only part of the equation for a win. However, when the St. Louis Rams face the 0-4 Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday, doing the above may be nearly enough to move the Rams to 2-3 on the 2013 season.

Through four games, Jacksonville has literally not been able to get out of its own way.

Most would agree that the Jaguars have not only fielded the league’s most impotent offense, but have offered up one of the most ineffective defensive attacks, too.

St. Louis is at home against a team that may end up being infamously known as one of the league’s all-time worst. On Sunday, playing sound, fundamental football should be enough to put a notch in the victory column for the Rams.

Bottle up Blackmon

(Hope you all enjoy the other keys and remainder of the preview below. Thanks!)

Looks like a match-up to cure some ailments;

We've had difficulty stopping the pass; they can't pass the ball

We've had difficulty running the ball; they can't stop the run

Strangely enough this one is feeling like a win isn't good enough for most Rams fans. Winning big feels like the expectation around here... I sorta feel that way to!
