I was very shocked when I just read that the Rams signed Alexander and put him on IR after he was not claimed when the Rams put him on Waivers. I thought I read that the Rams were finally giving up on him. I like Alexander and I wish him the very best! It would be truly amazing if he really could overcome his injury issues and play or the Rams again! I guess this news is legitimate.

JT is reporting otherwise. He said:

"Rams reach agreement on injury settlement w/Danario Alexander. Paperwork will be completed w/in next 24-48 hours. He cleared waivers today."

With a injury settlement he can sign with whoever he wishes, I believe.

It's hard to imagine another team will pick him up, with knees like him, and the fact he's not a vet that has a proven record that'll convince teams to take a chance, it doesn't seem likely that his football career will continue.

Thanks! I guess this really does end the relationship between Alexander & the Rams! I wish him the very best! He really seems like a very nice young man and an excellent football player but he is just having a very difficult time staying healthy.

Yep, it's such a shame. There's not a doubt in my mind had his knees not been bad he would have been a top 10 draft pick, and probably would be a huge factor in the NFL right now. Such raw talent.

I'll have to change my sig now too. :fk:
