In this article, by JT, He says ' ..the rams two trick plays allowed them to STEAL the game from the Seahawks..' I think that is an insulting comment!! The Rams Earned this Win!!!!

Morning Ram-blings: Jeff Fisher's big risk

By Nick Wagoner

http://espn.go.com/blog/st-louis-rams/post/_/id/12834/morning-ram-blings-jeff-fishers-big-risk

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- There's no denying the fake punt called by St. Louis Rams coach Jeff Fisher to seal his team's win against the Seattle Seahawks was some combination of gutsy and crazy, but it's hard to put into context how much of each goes into the recipe.

Hard, anyway, for those of us who don't know how to crunch the numbers. So it is that we turn to our friends at NumberFire to give us a little bit of perspective.

Fisher
On Monday afternoon, NumberFire published that post with a look at how Fisher's call actually was more gutsy than crazy. It sounds a little hard to believe, but the call actually made sense from a numbers standpoint.

Per the article, if the Rams do the normal thing and punt it away, they would have had a 53.4 percent chance to win. Almost 50/50. But going for it, be it via a fake punt or something else, and converting means the Rams would have needed just another first down to put the game away completely or possibly give it back to Seattle with about 30 seconds left. That would dramatically increase the Rams' chances of winning to 88.2 percent.

Of course, a failure on the fourth-down attempt would have made it easy for Seattle to score and dropped the Rams' probability of winning to just 14.9 percent.

But fourth-and-3 isn't such an outrageous situation to convert and the fake punt part of the decision adds an element of surprise.

Regardless, it was a decision that worked but focusing on the process rather than the result confirms the choice wasn't as crazy as it seemed.
