Morning Ram-blings: Examining ACLs
By Nick Wagoner

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- The ACL injury has become one of the most prevalent in all of sports over the years and nowhere has it been more obvious than the NFL.

Here in St. Louis, the Rams and their fans know all about it with quarterback Sam Bradford and left tackle Jake Long each suffering two torn ACLs in less than a calendar year.

It's happened other places, too, including in Arizona where quarterback Carson Palmer suffered his second torn ACL playing against the Rams. On Wednesday, ESPN.com took a closer look at all things ACL, starting with yet another terrific piece from senior writer David Fleming on Palmer's ACL reconstruction and his relationship with the woman who made it possible.

To accompany that, we also offered up an all ACL team with a team on offense and a team on defense.

Cardinals reporter Josh Weinfuss also chronicled Palmer's latest attempt to come back from the injury.
