Morning Ram-blings: Rams' win big on Twitter
By Nick Wagoner

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- It's not often the St. Louis Rams are one of the teams drawing much attention in the social media realm, especially compared to other teams around the league.

Of course, that's largely a product of their struggles on the field but it also means on the occasions where they spring a surprise on someone, they do become a major part of the discussion. We saw it earlier this year in their wins against Seattle and San Francisco.

That was certainly the case on Sunday when the Rams shocked the football world with a 22-7 win against the high-powered Denver Broncos. According to Twitter's tracking of NFL activity, the Rams-Broncos game was the fifth most tweeted about game in week 11.

While I'm sure the Rams don't care much about how many times they're mentioned on Twitter in a given week, maybe they should. It usually means they're doing something unexpected.
