Morning Ram-blings: Draft value
By Nick Wagoner

http://espn.go.com/blog/st-louis-rams/post/_/id/17350/morning-ram-blings-draft-value

PHOENIX -- After what was apparently an NFL clerical snafu, the official NFL draft order is finally known.

Which means that we can now evaluate which teams boast the best draft position and how much value those teams can reasonably expect to add. For those that aren't into some of the advanced metrics used to measure such things, feel free to proceed to the next section.

Over at Grantland, Bill Barnwell took the overall draft value and provided a working list of the teams that can expect to add the most draft value and the six with the least draft value in this year's selection process.

This is a list that has regularly had the St. Louis Rams best-positioned amongst the 32 NFL teams in recent years because of the bounty of picks the Rams got from Washington. That's not the case anymore as that well has dried up.

In fact, with just six picks this year, the Rams come in at 29th on the list with a negative-12.2 differential between their expected draft value and actual draft value.

Feel free to peruse the story at your leisure for a full explanation on how the teams are rated.

I don't understand this^ If we're picking 10th or 9th or 8th depending on the round, even if we only have 6 picks!
