Morning Ram-blings: Back in time
By Nick Wagoner

http://espn.go.com/blog/st-louis-rams/post/_/id/9170/morning-ram-blings-back-in-time

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- It seems almost hard to believe, but it's been 20 years since an NFL team last hosted a game in Los Angeles.

Twenty years since the Rams and Raiders played their final game in L.A., packed up the moving truck and headed to St. Louis and Oakland, respectively. Even harder to believe, perhaps, is the fact that the NFL has not returned to one of the nation's largest metropolitan areas in the time since.

But it's a fact. And the folks over at the MMQB took an interesting look back at the day football officially died in L.A.

The odds and discussion of professional football returning to Los Angeles is seemingly never-ending, though it seems like the league will one day set up shop in the city of angels again. That is speculation we'll leave for a different time and place.

In the meantime, the article is worth a read for those that want to take a stroll down memory lane.

I.C.Y.M.I.

A roundup of Tuesday's Rams stories appearing on ESPN.com. ... In the Ram-blings, we began the day with a look at the Rams' potentially dominant front seven. ... Next, we took a closer look at a lesser known offseason addition, offensive lineman Travis Bond. ... From there, we delved into the Rams' plans for signing their rookie class soon. ... Finally, we noted some observations from Tuesday's fifth OTA.
