Morning Ram-blings: Long grants wish
By Nick Wagoner

http://espn.go.com/blog/st-louis-rams/post/_/id/9857/morning-ram-blings-long-grants-wish

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- This time of year is best known for the start of training camps and the beginning of football season. But for those staying tuned to "SportsCenter," it's also the time of year for something that goes above and beyond the beginning of football season.

That's right, it's time for ESPN's "My Wish" series in which young people struggling with medical issues get their sports wishes granted with ESPN there to document the special day.

Earlier this week, St. Louis Rams left tackle Jake Long played a role in helping to grant one of the wishes. Coincidentally, 18-year-old Stephen Loszewski even has some local ties, hailing from Grain Valley, Missouri.

Loszewski's 2011 leukemia diagnosis ended his dreams of playing football at the University of Michigan, but it's a dream the Wolverines and Long helped make come true recently. Long traveled to Loszewski's home to tell him he'd get a chance to go through a day as a Michigan recruiting target with many other surprises along the way.

Every single one of the videos is worth watching and all can be found right here at ESPN.com. Be warned, however. It seems most of the videos always seem to be best viewed in a room full of dust and onions.
