Morning Ram-blings: Quinn an All-Pro
By Nick Wagoner

http://espn.go.com/blog/st-louis-rams/post/_/id/15133/morning-ram-blings-quinn-an-all-pro-2

ESPN senior NFL writer John Clayton unveiled his 2014 All-Pro team on Wednesday and one member of the St. Louis Rams made an appearance.

That would be defensive end Robert Quinn, who joined Houston's J.J. Watt as the defensive ends to make Clayton's roster. In his explanation for choosing Quinn, Clayton offered the following:

"Quinn and the rest of the Rams' defensive line wreaked havoc on opposing quarterbacks during the second half of the season. He finished with 10.5 sacks and tied for the league lead with five forced fumbles."

In some ways, Quinn's 2014 season was a disappointment, if only because he didn't reach the heights he did in 2013. That he was still able to post 10.5 sacks and five forced fumbles given all the attention he received from opponents and still garner the respect of so many around the league speaks to how Quinn has earned his place among the league's best pass-rushers.

With Quinn under contract at a reasonable rate, he figures to remain a franchise cornerstone for the Rams for many years to come and earn plenty of All-Pro and Pro Bowl bids along the way.
