Morning Ram-blings: Sam Bradford's future
By Nick Wagoner

http://espn.go.com/blog/st-louis-rams/post/_/id/14280/morning-ram-blings-sam-bradfords-future

EARTH CITY, Mo. -- The St. Louis Rams have plenty of time before they have to make a decision on quarterback Sam Bradford's future with the team, but coach Jeff Fisher recently offered some insight on how he views it.

At 101sports.com, the home of 101 ESPN radio in St. Louis, Fisher discussed Bradford's future with the team and said he expects Bradford to be under center for the team in 2015.

Of course, it's easy to make such proclamations now but with Bradford coming off two season-ending ACL injuries and scheduled to count more than $16 million against the cap next year, it's hard to imagine the Rams bringing him back at that rate.

And it's not surprising for Fisher to support Bradford at this point. Really, what else would he say on the topic at this point?

Regardless, my initial read on the situation is that the Rams actually would like to bring Bradford back but only on the condition that it's at a drastically reduced rate. Then, the team would look to draft a quarterback to compete and develop alongside Bradford.

The question would then become whether Bradford wants to return and if he does, how much less he'd be willing to take to do it knowing that he might not be guaranteed a starting job.
