According to Drafttek.com the value of the Rams 2018 draft picks is 367.2 pts:

DR3(87) 155
DR4(111) 72
DR4(135) 38
DR4(136) 37.5
DR6A(176) 20.5
DR6B(183) 17.8
DR6C(194) 13.4
DR6D(195) 13
Total Pts 367.2

Hypothetically - how would you like to see the Rams spend the 367.2 points. I will start:

Player Round Pts
J Sweat - EDGE R3.100 100
J Holland - EDGE R4.102 92
D Nnadi - NT R4.129 43
A Victor - ILB R4.135 38
T Crosby - OT R5.143 34
Q Blanding - S R5.170 23
F Ragnow - OC R5.171 23
M Walton - RB R6.208 10
N DeLuca - ILB R7.225 2
KC McDermott - OT R7.243 2
Total 367

Sorry about the spacing. It seems to have compressed. It makes it hard to read.

I'd take it. I don't know why Ragnow is rated so low though. PFF has him rated as the best Center in the entire draft.

I agree Ragnow and Holland are selected early compared to most projections. I was trying to start a thread on draft opinions using the Rams draft position points as valued by drafted.com

With this OT class, I can't see Crosby making it out of the 2nd round.

Same with Edge and Holland.

Then again, I hope some of these pundits are right because if they are, I could see us taking Crosby in the 3rd and Holland in the 4th and I'd be so jacked for that.

I just think those guys will go earlier. Then again, there's a bunch of players with hype who fall...precipitously... like supposed 2nd round guys who go in the 7th... that kind of stuff.

I'd be pumped to get Josh Sweat. Raw but explosive and strong, I think Phillips could mold him into something special across from Ebukam. Might have to trade up though.

Revisiting after seeing the following article -
https://theramswire.usatoday.com/20...raft-trade-value-chart-2018-order-every-pick/

Here’s how much value each of the Rams’ picks carries:

  • Round 3 (No. 87): 155
  • Round 4 (No. 111): 72
  • Round 4 (No. 135): 38
  • Round 4 (No. 136): 37.5
  • Round 6 (No. 176): 20.6
  • Round 6 (No. 183): 17.8
  • Round 6 (No. 194): 14.3
  • Round 6 (No. 195): 14
The trade value chart, which was devised by Jimmy Johnson during his time with the Cowboys, isn’t a hard-and-fast rule for teams. It’s merely a starting point when discussing trades in the draft and how a team might be able to move up or down.

That being said, here are a few potential trade-up ideas for the Rams:

  1. Nos. 87, 135 and 176 (213.6 points) for Raiders’ third-round pick, No. 75 (215 points) - picking up Josey Jewell - ILB - Iowa
  2. Nos. 111 and 135 (110 points) for Cardinals’ third-round pick, No. 97 (112 points) - picking up Jeff Holland - EDGE - Auburn
  3. Nos. 176 and 194 (34.9 points) for Seahawks’ fifth-round pick, No. 141 (35 points) - picking up Will Clapp - OC - LSU
