I'm all for competition. The more the better, especially if they're bringing in guys familiar with the system they want to implement.

These guys are going to be able to mesh two pretty damn good offenses. Gruden's and Shanny's. the concepts are going to be A+++ when it comes to setting things up. Both Goff and Mannion are going to reap benfits from this staf...as well as anybody we bring in to handle the #3 spot. I think there is no doubt that we should expect at least one of either Garcon or D.Jax coming in. Also saw that Miami WR FA Kenny Stills is looking to move out West for his next home....

Say what you want about McVay and wish we'd gone after Shanahan all you want but McVay has done an incredible job assembling a coaching staff.

I knew he would. The only negative thing you can say about McVay is that he's young. He's surrounded himself with both experience and young rising stars. He's an offensive genius himself. This is going to be a great staff and a great team.

IMHO, this would be a very good hire. I hope @ReddingRam was correct above. More young blood, which is what I think this organization needs at least on offense. The cat even looks like a technician/tactician.

After seeing that collapse Sunday evening, I'm pretty sure we made the right choice. And I was a huge skeptic about McVay... but damn if the kid hasnt assembled an all-star, diverse coaching staff.
