Just announced on Facebook with this photo. The team will wear the blue and yellow throwbacks. I'm now a bit more excited for this game.

Those are nice too........at least these throwbacks have the horn on the sleeve. IMO that's a must and it ties the whole thing together more than any other uni in the league. It just works.

The Fans are going to Love it!! When I was their at the Coliseum on Fan Appreciation Day there where a Ton of Fans, Young and Old, wearing obviously Brand New Throw-Back Colored Jersey's! Can your picture a crowd of Fan's, in these Jersey's 'Doing a Wave'!!!?!:mrburnsevil:

Seriously. I love the throwbacks but I'd rather them not wear 'em if they're just gonna be an embarrassment. Those classic colors deserve more.

The 90's uniforms were more neon in color. Very bright blue and canary yellow.
The 70's uniforms were more muted and look ... I dunno ... tougher.

Funny. I always attributed the bright shiny color in the '90s to the different spandexy fabric they started using in the uniforms. I hated it.

I love the throwbacks, all of them really. But I'd really prefer to see the blue on the helm copied to the jersey. That dark navy blue is better than that bright blue for football.
