R the Rams trying Hekker at 3rd QB to free up a roster spot?

He seems to be getting allot of reps in 7 on 7 and I even think he has seen some 11 on 11 action per tweets.

Is it possible they are trying him out to be the emergency 3rd guy so they can let Clemons walk?

I get the feeling they aren't doing it for laughs at all...He has been getting some work.

I think they are doing it for a variety of reasons. Think of 4th and 3. Rams are punting, right? Nope, they shift and run a play with Hekker at QB. Plus, they could let Clemons go. In any case, it's always good to have an emergency QB.

And please god release Clemens. I don't care about any positives. This guy is seriously one of the worst QB's I've ever watched. lol
