She was the longest reigning monarch in English history. And an incredible example of class and dignity throughout her entire time on the throne.
History will be very kind to her memory.
She will be sorely missed.

RIP.

Just read a act that stood out to me, her reign spanned 30% of US history.

I don't know a thing about her. I dont care about royalty...it's not a disrespect thing, Ive just never been drawn to it....but....I know that she means a ton to a lot of people and I feel for them. I have some good friends from England and they are really hurting over it. She must have been a good woman.

RIP.
She was well like in Britain and the Commonwealth.
Her Majesty was working days before her death by welcoming in our new Prime Minister.

I love how you post, brother.

This news is a surprise to me. I just logged on and saw the news first on ROD.

RIP. My perspective has always been world wide respect for her.

Cue 3 weeks of mass hysteria in the UK.

I respected her, but really, she's a 96 year old woman. They die. It's not sad, it's life.

Also I'm a republican so I really don't get the monarchy thing anyway. No harm to them, I just prefer my Heads of State elected.

I'd abolish the Monarchy in a heartbeat as they historically accrued their gargantuan wealth, power and lands at the expense of others. Often brutally.

And you cannot have an equal Society when you have unelected people who rule over people called subjects for fucks sake. It's archaic and utterly bizarre

Having said that, she personally, was a remarkable person and a true force of nature.

And I think it's obvious that she really was a servant to the country and always wanted the best for her people no matter what republicans like I think

So, I definitely admired her and feel bad for her family and staunch Royalists like almost all of my family. I'd just call it a day now and tell them all to fuck off and leave the paintings on their way out.

Chazza is going to fucking struggle following her!
