You can add the FB from Baltimore to list of signed players, as Multiple outlets are reporting.

the 9ners are going to get a qb other than hoyer. my guess is that they draft a qb with the 2nd rnd pick and use hoyer as a keenum type of a player.

I actually like the moves the 9ers made. You can tell shanny is putting his system in place with guys that he likes. Goodwin is the real steal here though if he plays the Crowder role and stay healthy he can succeed

I'm not sure what the Hoyer thing is about...Guess it's just insurance with zero QBs on the roster right now...Back-up material imo, just don't think he'll do much as a starter if that's the way it turns out for now...

Hoyer’s presence on the 49ers roster would also seem to make it less likely that the 49ers are going to pursue a trade for Kirk Cousins, who has been linked to the team largely because of his own experience with Shanahan.

The conspiracy folks have a master plan of Kirk cashing Redskins checks in 2017 while the 49ers use all of their draft picks to bolster the team - only to have Cousins waltz over in the offseason to QB for his buddy Kyle Shanahan. Hoyer holding down the fort in 2017 and helping to teach the 49er offense the Shanahan scheme makes the conspiracy theory more of a reality. Frankly, if Cousins is going to be a 49er in 2018, I'd prefer the 49ers using draft picks now to acquire Kirk in exchange so they have fewer picks for their rebuilding effort. Will be fun watching McVay and Phillips scheme against the former Redskin.

It would be a shame if Lynch became a hell of a GM his first year with no prior experience...

Look at Hoyer's numbers the last 2 years vs those of Rams QBs. He's a bottom tier starter, but an improvement over what the 49ers have had the last few years. He's a stop gap option.

The 49ers have been active in free agency, and now they’ve made a big move on special teams.

Kicker Robbie Gould has signed a two-year deal with San Francisco, Jordan Raanan of ESPN reports.

The 35-year-old Gould was cut by the Bears during the preseason last year and eventually signed on with the Giants. He made all 10 of his field goals but missed three of his 23 extra point attempts.

The 49ers needed a new kicker because Phil Dawson signed with the Cardinals.
