Actually, the word "defence" is the right way to spell it, if you happen to speak the Queen's English. We Americans spell it as "defense." But yes, you're correct on the others.

This one has always bugged me, probably just cause he is the Rams coach.

It's Fisher, not Fischer!!!

Every other forum I visit they spell it with a c in it. Annoying as fuck and takes away all credibility when they can't even spell it right as they try to bash him.

You're gonna regret starting this thread. Americans have been bastardising the English language for decades. (Note that's bastardising with an 's', not a 'z')

Some of my favourite examples:-

Favourite
Harbour
Analyse
Behaviour
Defence
Offence
Flavour
Favour
Any version of a word with 'ise' that you change to 'ize' for no apparent reason.

While we're at it, the phrase is 'I couldn't care less'...
'I could care less' makes no fucking sense whatsoever!

Ok, rant over.

Forgive my provinciality, but the U.S. utilizes the American/English language. Thee and Thou are no longer spoken but in King James Version churches, Shakesperian plays, and various Passion Plays across the country.

This is AMERICAN FOOTBALL, not Latino "Futbol".

When the NFL opens a franchise in London I will relent.

Of course I kid because I care. Since the language was formed in GB, (Great Britain, not Green Bay), I defer to your acumen.

Many of the French-derived words take on a British spelling in Canada. Favour, colour... Are auto-corrected to these spellings on my devices.

I can't really update my auto correct because in my day to day communications I spell them as "colour" because it's proper where I live.
