- On the first drive of the game, QB Sam Bradford connected with TE Lance Kendricks on a 23-yard touchdown pass.

- On the following KC drive, CB Janoris Jenkins caused WR Jon Baldwin to fumble. Rams S Craig Dahl recovered the ball at the Kansas City 31-yard line.

- The fumble recovery set up a second Rams scoring drive. WR Danny Amendola caught an 8-yard touchdown pass from Bradford to push the lead to 14-0. Amendola lead the team in receiving yards with 58 on three receptions.

- The offensive starters played three drives, taking them through the first quarter.

- QB Sam Bradford threw for 102 yards, completing six-of-nine passes for a 144.4 passer rating.

- RB Steven Jackson rushed seven times for 49 yards, with a long of 18 yards.

- To start out the second quarter, DE Robert Quinn sacked QB Matt Cassel for a 12 yard loss.

- QB Kellen Clemens took over in the second quarter. Kellens completed eight-of-10 passes for 50 yards.


- K Greg Zuerlein converted a 52-yard field goal after the two-minute warning, in the first half.

- To start the second half, CB Trumaine Johnson tipped a pass from QB Ricky Stanzi into the arms of DT Matt Conrath at the 23-yard line.

- RB Isaiah Pead leaped over the pile to get in the endzone for a 1-yard touchdown in the third quarter.

- DE William Hayes sacked QB Ricky Stanzi for a seven yard loss, forcing the Chiefs to punt, in the third quarter.

- DE Scott Smith sacked Stanzi for a five yard loss.

- LB Justin Cole registered a sack on Stanzi causing him to fumble. The fumble was recovered by McIntosh and he returned it four yards.

- QB Austin Davis came in on the second drive of the third quarter and played through one drive in the fourth quarter. Davis put together a seven play scoring drive that started on the St. Louis 43 yard line. Davis threw for 70 yards and completed five-of-seven passes for a 103.3 passer rating.

- Early in the fourth quarter, RB Daryl Richardson registered a four yard touchdown run.

- LB Rocky McIntosh sacked Stanzi for a six yard loss.

- McIntosh caused QB Brady Quinn to fumble. The fumble was recovered by S Rodney McLeod. After the fumble recovery, Tom Brandstater took over at quarterback.

- According to press box statistics, CB Janoris Jenkins led the team in tackles with five (four solo).

- The Rams offense ran 62 plays, put together five scoring drives, and 348 total net yards for the win, 31-17.

- The Rams defense came away with five sacks, three forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and one interception.

- P Johnny Hekker punted three for 127 yards, a 42.3-yard average, 39.3-yard net and a long of 51 yards.

- WR Chris Givens returned one kickoff for 25 yards, for the long of the night. RB Isaiah Pead, CB Kendric Burney, Janoris Jenkins and Chase Reynolds each saw action on returns as well.
