The Rams beat the Bears 42-21 in the 89th meeting between the Bears and Rams. Bears lead 51-35-3.

- Today’s win marks Coach Fisher’s 154 regular season win, one game behind Tom Coughlin (155) not including the outcome of today’s Giants’ game that is currently under way.

- The last time the Rams tallied 42 points in a game was December 30, 2001, verse the Colts. In that game, the Rams beat the Colts 42-17.

- QB Kellen Clemens completed 10 of 22 passes for 167 yards and one touchdown.

- WR Tavon Austin rushed 65 yards for a touchdown, the first rushing touchdown of his career. Marks the Rams’ longest rush since Marshall Faulk had a 70 yard rush (12/23/01), which also went for a touchdown. In the past two games, Austin has had 13 touches on offense and special teams and has scored four times.

- According to NFL, Austin is the first player in NFL history with a 95-plus yard punt return touchdown, 80-plus yard reception touchdown, and 65-plus yard rushing touchdown in a season.

- According to Elias Sports, Austin is the fourth player since 1960 with rushing, receiving, and punt return touchdowns of 60-plus yards in a season.

- According to Fox Sports, Austin is just the third player since 1940 with four 50-plus yard touchdowns in consecutive games. The other two: Jim Brown (Cle) and Gale Sayers (Chi).

- Going into today’s game, Austin’s 65 yard rush is the second longest by a rookie this season. Arizona’s Rookie Andre Ellington’s has an 80 yard rush.

- RB Zac Stacy notched his fourth rushing touchdown of the season on a 1-yard rush. Marks the third consecutive game that Stacy has had at least one rushing touchdown. He finished with 12 rushes for 87 yards. He suffered an injury and left the game in the third quarter.

- RB Benny Cunningham notched his first 100 yard game of his career, rushing 13 times for 109 yards, an 8.4-yard average. Cunningham tallied his first career touchdown on a 9-yard rush.

- The last time the Rams scored back-to-back touchdowns on their first two drives of a game came on Nov. 11, 2011 vs. the San Francisco 49ers.

- TE Jared Cook caught a six yard touchdown pass from Clemens. His fourth touchdown of the season and 12thcareer. Ties a career-high for Cook in touchdowns in a season. He recorded four touchdowns in 2012 as a member of the Titans. Cook also led the team in receiving yards with 80 on four receptions.

- The Rams totaled 425 scrimmage yards, the most this season.

- Marks the first time this season the Rams have scored on back-to back offensive possessions to start the game. The last time the Rams scored on their first two offensive drives of a game came on Oct. 14, 2012 vs. the Miami Dolphins, when the Rams hit two field goals on their opening two possessions.

- DE Robert Quinn sacked Bears QB Josh McCown for a loss of seven yards and forcing a fumble. Quinn recovered the fumble and returned it 31 yards for his first career touchdown. Going into today’s game, Quinn led the NFC in sacks and today he pushed his season total to 13.

- CB Trumaine Johnson forced Bears RB Matt Forte to fumble and LB James Laurinaitis recovered the ball on the Chicago 7-yard line. Marks Johnson’s first career forced fumble and Laurinaitis’ second fumble recovery of the season.

- CB Rodney McLeod nabbed his second interception of the season.

- According to press box statistics, LB Alec Ogletree led the team in tackles with 11 (six solo).

- K Greg Zuerlein registered two field goals of 40 and 29 yards.

Halftime Stats:


- The Rams posted 123 rushing yards in the first quarter, to tie for the second most in a first quarter in franchise history. Previously, the Rams tallied 159 yards against Carolina (11/11/01) and 123 yards verse New Orleans (12/12/93).

- The Rams registered 167 rushing yards in the first half, the third most in franchise history since 1991. Previously, the Rams posted 203 (11/11/01) and 169 (12/12/93) yards in the first half.

- The last time the Rams had 21 points in the first quarter and scored on the first three offensive drives of the game was against Dallas (10/19/08).
