We've made every game this season, including the preseason. So I spend a LOT of time on stubhub gauging ticket prices and availability. I buy our tickets for each game their, usually between the 40yd lines home side. While 3 of my co-workers use my 6 season tix.

Usually about this time 5 days prior to the game most prime sections on both sides have anywhere from 20 to 0 tickets left in them. Right now on the home side most sections have 60+ left in most sections and 80-100+ on the visitors side per section.

I sure hope it's not indicative of an empty stadium come Saturday night. I'm so sick and tired of hearing about it from the rest of the nation, friends on social media. I understand parts of the issue, such as the shitty coliseum. We all also know about the other factors such as "Transplants" and "Vast entertainment" options. At the end of the day though, a primetime playoff game, we have to show up!

Hopefully it will be packed, and my calculations method is skewed. Either way, we will be there in full force! 20+ for the tailgate and game!

I have not worried about Coliseum attendance this year because of last year's fiasco. But this is the playoffs for a market that hasn't an NFL playoff game since the mid 90's, and I won't be at all forgiving if LA fans don't pack this now 75,000 capacity stadium. Unless there are saved tickets for Falcon fans, they better by God not be almost as many Falcon fans in the stadium as Rams fans. Serious as f.ukk.

Get used to the Rams never having home field advantage as far as the crowd or crowd noise. From an opposing team having to travel and playing a game when there body clock is at 10 am yes they have an advantage.

But anyone expecting a stadium full of Rams fans is going to be disappointed and IMO it has nothing to do with other entertainment options. It's a value thing, and we are seeing lots of empty seats all over the country. The NFL isn't a good value anymore. They've ruined the game experience with too many stoppages and too steep of a price.

I don't know how well ATL fans travel, or how many people that are originally from the ATL area and are now living in LA..........but I doubt if 75K seats are filled.

I hope there are a ton of empty seats, the NFL needs the wake up call. Greedy fuck owners are killing the sport.

This game should transcend all of that. IF the Rams could pull almost 80,000 fans for a Preseason game, they better by God fill a 75,000 stadium for a playoff game.

That's concerning tbh.

But I still expect a good home crowd in this game. First off it's at night, and it's on a Saturday, which means a lot of LA fans should get off their @$$es and actually show up to the game.

There will be a lot of Falcons faithful there too I am sure. But I have to think at least 2/3 will be Rams fans come kickoff. I mean if LA can't get behind this team, well, that's a damn shame.

IIRC that was one time, and the first time they [played and it was an event.

2/3 of what total though, that's the question.
Exactly Les, I expect we will outnumber the Falcons fans by far, but if the stadium is 50% full, that will seriously suck.

If the Rams fans don't show up in good numbers it'll be more along the lines of 50/50 I think. Falcons will have good representation there.

Every game this year had the tickets on sale for months. These have been on sale for days. Patience grasshoppa.

I hear ya Old School! Trying to allow for that factor. The plus side of that is it might limit Falcon fans :)

Sounds disappointing. I guess with 10,000 more tickets to sell there would be more available early on.

Yes it was announced Sunday night and then it's New Years eve and day. I know LA has lots of people. You would think you could sell out a Rams playoff game of 75,000 seats. Hopefully, they sell more tickets to Rams fans and they bring it.

I expected this would happen.

I was a season ticket holder back when the Rams left for StL, and thought the NFL was crazy to leave this market. Sure, they talked about using LA as a threat to get other owners sweet stadium deals, etc, but alienating LA seemed like a bullet to the foot. If you remember the owner arguments against leaving (before they folded when the hooker kicked in her dead hubby's blood money), they focused around the potentially irreparable damage to the market.

By the way, I also thought they'd put a new team in LA within a few years. Clearly, I was wrong about the last part.

But on the damage caused by leaving LA, I am perplexed how there is any confusion regarding LA attendance. How can the owners be confused/disappointed about attendance? Baffling. It's like you leave your wife to be with your hottie secretary, who turns out to be crazy. You really think you're just gonna show up at your ex's door and all will be forgiven? Pompous fools.

With that in mind, I never thought we'd be this entertaining in the only the 2nd year back. To make the playoffs already should help what would have been a gradual acceptance process. I'm sure the local demand for tickets will reflect what other successful teams are seeing. It will just take time.

Side note: If they continue to try to use the team as an ATM (PSLs for $100-200K? really?), it may take decades.

GO RAMS!!

I just looked at ticketmaster, official tickets not re-sale, and they're really aren't many seats left. It's the re-sale tix I'm seeing tons of. So at the end of the day...If it means only the re-sale seats will be empty, hopefully we will still be pretty full!

So the first NFL playoff game since the 90's isn't an event? I love my big flat screen TV and close by bathroom, but I would give that up to be part of Rams history...
