I think TruJo is my guy

He got burned looking in the backfield when he should have been covering, resulting in at least 3 first downs allowed.

But even TRu saved one on a big open field tackle.

Countess offside on the punt, then makes a great solo tackle on a kickoff return.

Even our Pit of Misery guys had plays

Tavon for me .... a fair catch is probably the "easiest "catch a pro player can make ... and he muffed it ... and never looked comfortable after that ...

Quinn is invisible. If you watch the replay , just watch him run straight up the field and out of the play . Look where he was at on the last play of the game . He was on all fours 5 yards past the QB . Play after play he does the same thing
Quinn really needs to diversify his attack. Too easy to neutralise. Liability in the run game.

Bones

I've noticed him constantly yapping in McVay's ear on the sideline during the last 2 games. He needs to get back to coaching Special Teams.

The Special Teams looked Special all night... like they took the short bus to school.

Hey Bones... leave McVay alone and take care of the Special Teams. Then... do a belly flop into the Pit.

To be fair, Joe Staley has made many a good pass rusher look "lazy".
I agree with you the 9ers LT is outstanding!

But Matt Longacre #96 went up against the same outstanding LT as the Quinn? Longacre played much better up against the same LT plus had better stats while not starting or playing as much??? Help me out with figuring that out. Is Matt much better than Quinn or is Quinn a shell of his former self? Or Both?

Brilliant!!! Dilly Dilly! :rolllaugh:

This won't be popular to say, but Wade. He's got to get this defense on track. Until then, he's on my crap list

Yeah man, Wade's got some hard decisions to make on defense overall but particularly at RE. Quinn is hurting the team. Longacre was solid but as an edge LB he's a bit slow for the requirements of this scheme. Right side of the defense needs help and is probably our biggest issue right now.

I still have faith in Wade, but he's under the gun right now. Let's see some accountability and it goes much deeper than RE.

Tavon goes in the POM but, having him fake the ends around did opened up things for Gurley.

Quinn too.

Cooper has to protect the ball.

Take a look at Maurice Alexander in this game and last (WA) and tell me wtf he's doing out there...

ex 1: The TD run by Hoyer early in the game. You see MA come into the screen jogging at Hoyer... no effort and 4 guys let him walk in the endzone untouched???
ex 2: The long pass down the middle late in the game to Goodwin(?) where MA is looking to the right sideline as the ball in coming into the receiver's hands on his left side. WTF???
ex 3: All the bad angles he's taken on wiffs thru three games?

There is plenty of blame to go around on our D , but MA has to be better than what he's showed if our D is going improve. I'm pulling for him because my favorite players are usually homegrown and I like to root for them to exceed expectations (see M. Longacre), but MA is killing us right now.

I give it to Tavon. I'm one of his biggest defenders but crap.... he's earned his stay in The Pit of Misery for a week!

I hate to say it because I like the guy, but Tavon should be traded this year. Preferably when Mike Thomas comes back from suspension.
