Little before my time. I bet it wasn't easy for her.

IDK, I think besides the comments, Phyllis lived a charmed life being first lady of Kentucky as she married the Governor and the NFL on CBS or NFL Today was special because it was the only pregame we had, but still was just enough IMO.

I respect many of the women who came later like Robin Roberts, Linda Cohn & even Beth Mowins for example although many can't stand her voice, but Mowins is as well prepared play by play announcer as any although she does look too much like author Doris Kearns Goodwin.

Funny thing about Jimmy "The Greek" Snyder is he made his first big money in the 1948 election of Harry Truman & Thomas Dewey. Dewey had a huge lead, but Snyder's sister said she didn't like his mustache and most women felt that way, Greek got great odds and made his first killing. Wonder if his sister got anything?

The lady was pure class and nice to everybody.

Gorgeous and sweet. :zany:
This is the look I had on my face when I would see her when I was in my teen years.
