I remember that well Jim ,things like this and other's who have come and gone with cancer before Pete have made that disease less deadly .
It takes a lot of courage and prayer to endure what he did ,the odd thing is the challenges just tend to bring out the best in people ,his story is inspiring thanks for the update .

BTW I stopped in one of your Co.'s shops the other day and looked for you it was the one on Hanley Rd by the Wal Mart.

Did you read the thread about "My Package" ,I got a very impressive package at a very good price, thasnks to Mr. Demoff and the Rams.

I just checked the NL standings I'd given up on the Cards and especially Martinez ,it always happens ,but they'll "suck me back in" just to break my heart.
Keep in touch man , there are just a few posters on the net as good as you, we could use the class 'round heyah

Been to several ball games so far, and they haven't won a single one of them......I blame myself. I have tickets for the June 21st game and hopefully will reverse the trend.
My location is in West County on Manchester Road.

I am kind of semi retired from the posting boards these days. But will be back with a purpose come training camp as always.

The memorial for Pete was extremely touching and a heartfelt gesture. Glad you liked hearing about it.

Yeah, if I just don't watch they win.

Looking forward to your TC reports and maybe I'll see you there ,should have figured your location would be close to where you live.
Any "inside info " on if you're gonna be able to walk to the games;) ?

No I have heard so many sites lately it makes my head spin. There is a downtown site just north of the new casino that seems to be gaining ground.

Hey Jimi- I'm holding you to your promise of being a more frequent visitor here. I always appreciate your insights on all things Rams and Alt Country (lol). I miss the Jayhawks.

Good to see you around again Jim. Kudos to the Rieker family as well. There's probably not a one of us here whose life or loved ones hasn't been affected by cancer.

Pete was one heck of a guy and one of my oldest "Rams" Friends on the internet. never did get to meet him in person, for which I feel very bad about. Wish we could find a way to get the Rams to dedicate a game for him this yr.

Through the good offices of Kevin Orris the Rams did recognize him last year in several ways.....they sent a huge package of autographed pictures, trinkets and lots of goodies to Pete about a month before he died. I was extremely touched by Kevin's help and thanked him profusely at a practice. They later recognized Tim and his mom at the 49ers game.
