Peat in the first and a guard in the 3rd. I hope between Rhane, Barnes, and Jones one of them are at least a solid starter

I can see why you might want to move Collins to guard.

I know next to nothing about Smith. He hasn't been on my radar at all because, among other things, I missed the Senior Bowl coverage due to me feeling like crap at the time. Do you think he's a better pass blocker than Collins?
From the link above /\ thanks @ DCH
Height: 6-5.5
Weight: 338
40: 5.22
Year: 4Jr
Donovan Smith
School: Penn State
Position: T
Bio: Three-year starter who lined up at both left tackle and guard.
Positive: Large, athletic tackle who can be a dominant force when focused on his game. Flashes footwork sliding off the edge, stays square and jolts defenders with good hand punch. Powerful and occasionally shows the ability to remove opponents from the action. Moves well on his feet. Quick out to the second level and effective blocking in motion. Keeps his head on a swivel, keeps his feet moving and works his hands. Anchors in pass protection or gets a pad on defenders to remove them from their angle of attack. Displays the ability to adjust and handle speed rushers off the edge. Sized well and possesses better than average footwork.
Negative: Must improve his blocking balance and the use of angles. Seems to lose a sense of where his quarterback is in the pocket. Lazy with his fundamentals. Work ethic has been questioned.
Analysis: Early in his college career Smith looked like the next dominant lineman from the Penn State program but his game never progressed. He possesses the size and physical skills to start at left tackle in the NFL if he applies himself on and off the field, making football a priority.

The guy was man-handling guys at the senior bowl. Most impressive guy there IMO. I saw a bunch of Penn St. games trying to see what the hype was about Hackenberg ? or whatever his name was....And I noticed they had some beasts on the line....but wasn't overly impressed. Here's a link to some tackles:

Do I agree with them all? Only if they support me...LOL

Let me start out by noting that, while it's probably a coincidence, those are the same guys I agree with. (y)

Three things in order from your 3 sources:
"He possesses the size and physical skills to start at left tackle in the NFL if he applies himself on and off the field, making football a priority." Alex Barron?
"He could be a long-term starter at right tackle and a good value pick." Doesn't sound like Walter thinks he has a chance at LT
"Might be a better guard but should get a chance to play tackle first." Hmmm!
Sounds like a great 3rd round pick to me but will he still be there? I always like players who do well against the best. Senior Bowl and East West Bowl.

Check out my favorites from this and last year's East West Bowl.

I don't think the Rams interest in Peat is a signal to Barksdale but the fact that the rest of the league hasn't attempted to sign him either might be
