Four players _ defensive end Robert Quinn (illness), guard Harvey Dahl (knee), running back Daryl Richardson (foot) and quarterback Brady Quinn (hip) _ sat out Friday's workout at Rams Park. Dahl will miss Sunday's game while the other three are questionable.
Shelley Smith, a fourth-year pro who made six starts a year ago and who has been rotating recently with Chris Williams at left guard, will start in place of Dahl at right guard.
Quinn keyed an outstanding defensive effort on Monday night, coming up with three sacks to go along with another tackle for loss.
Coming off the first 100-yard game of his career, Zac Stacy (ankle) was limited in practice Friday and is also questionable. So is running back/kick returner Benny Cunningham (ankle), who went through a full practice Friday.
Rams listed as probable after practicing Friday are quarterback Kellen Clemens (shoulder), tackle Jake Long (knee), center Scott Wells (thigh), wide receiver Austin Pettis (thigh), safety Darian Stewart (foot) and cornerback Brandon McGee (illness).
For the Titans, starting middle linebacker Moise Fokou (knee) has been ruled out of his second straight game. Tackle David Stewart (shoulder) and tight end Craig Stevens (back) sat out Friday's practice and are questionable for Sunday.
Also listed as questionable are safety Michael Griffin (quadriceps), former Mizzou linebacker Zaviar Gooden (hamstring), defensive end Ripati Pitoitua (calf) and wide receiver Justin Hunter (finger). Griffin was limited in practice Friday.
In addition, defensive tackle Jurrell Casey (ankle), linebacker Patrick Bailey (hamstring) and defensive end Derrick Morgan (shoulder) are probable for Sunday.
MILITARY PRESENCE AT PRACTICE
Sunday is the Rams' Military Appreciation game and the team had a good number of military personnel on hand Friday to watch practice and meet with the players afterward.
“It's just humbling to be around them,'' Rams defensive end Chris Long said. “They're the real heroes; that gets thrown around a lot, but I absolutely mean it. What we do, we play a game people and look to us for entertainment, but those people do something really meaningful and that's protect our freedoms and putting their lives on the line.
“To see them here, it's an inspiration.''
Long is again serving as the Red Cross Holiday Mail for Heroes honorary chair and encourages fans to take part by taking time to sign holiday cards at tables set up outside section 110, 138, 326, 354, 414, 440 and in the Bud Light Party Zone at the Edward Jones Domes on Sunday. The signed cards, which feature Long in a camo-style uniform, will distributed to active military, their families and veterans in homes and hospitals during the upcoming holiday season.
“It's just a great program, a way of saying thanks, giving them a little holiday feeling and letting them know somebody cares,'' Long said.
In addition, the Rams and the Red Cross are encouraging local schools to join in. The participating school that creates the most holiday cards per student will win a Rams Play 60 Challenge Assembly that will include a Rams player appearance.
