It's a One in a Million Chance....
"So your telling me there's a chance!"

Yes, this homer-ific scenario that gives the Rams the NFC West Title

St Louis Rams:5-12
It's a given the Rams must win out. Next week games vs Washington and
Arizona at home on Thurs night are winnable games. Giants come after this,
a game the Rams should win big...The Big "IF" is the last game at CLink
vs the Hawks. WE DO IT FINALLY.

@ Washington W
vs. Cardinals W
vs Giants W
@ Hawks W

Rams finish 9-7 , DIV record 4-2

Seattle Seahawks: 8-4
The Hawks are playing teams on the road that are 12-0 this season, so count a loss
at Philly.. San Fran gets chippy and beats the Hawks at CLink out of spite! Then the Hawks
finish the sweep of the collapsing Arizona Cardinals. Then comes St Louis to end
their dreams of a Super bowl Repeat and Wild Card birth this year.

@ Philly L
vs. Niners L
@ Cardinals W
vs. Rams L

Hawks finish: 9-7 , DIV record 3-3

San Francisco: 7-5
Niners are in total disarray, with rumors of Harbaugh being let go and Roman
promoted by Baalke as the new Niners HC .. Ok, I started that last rumor..So
let's get to the Niner disaster. Niners get their big revenge vs Seattle in Week 15,
and Niners Nation rejoices. Which is amazing after the monumental loss to the Raiders
the week before..But then after that win, the Niners die.
A Loss vs the Chargers at Levi is the final straw, knowing that the Rams are charging to
the top of the Division. Niners get a consolation victory over the Cards in week 17
the Niner rebuild is finally underway, firing everybody but BORLAND. Niner fans mutter his
name over, and over.

@ Oakland L
@ Seattle W
vs. Chargers L
vs. Cardinals W

Niners finish 9-7 , DIV record 3-3

Arizona Cardinals: 9-3
Remembering the collapse a couple of years back, this year is even worse. The other year, the Cardinals started 4-0, but after QB injuries their season became 5-11. This season is worse because of raised expectations. Good thing they don't have easy access to a bridge, like Niner fans..Cards lose out

vs Chiefs L
@ Rams L
vs Hawks L
vs. Niners L

Cardinals finish 9-7 , DIV record 2-4

All four teams are tied at years end at 9-7. Rams end up with the the best record
within the division at 4-2, giving them the NFC West Crown, and unfortunately after
the great start in Arizona, they finish dead last..

2014 NFC West Standings
Rams 9-7 (4-2)
Hawks 9-7 (3-3)
Niners 9-7 (3-3)
Cards 9-7 (2-4)

PS...I hope you can laugh..)

I'm going to feel like a king on his throne when this happens.

We moved on to baseball already?

Is this the only scenario or do the 49ers for example just need to go 2-2?
Well, The cards can't win even one game, two of which are to NFC West teams...this limts where the Hawks can the other win(s) from, and have everybody at 9-7....Someone might have a better idea, so we'll see.

Hell, I'd be happy with just the Rams and niners portion of this scenario. That would send me smiling into the offseason.

I love it. But in your scenario SF loses to the Raiders. Hope to god you're right but I just don't see it.

If the Niners lost to the Raiders, I can't see how Harbaugh would still be the coach come monday

Well, the previous game had the Raiders beating the Kansas City Chiefs. A team that recently beat the Rams. San Fran is in turmoil, so I guess we'll see.;)

This is the only scenario that would give the Rams the division title.
RamBill, I believe it's Division Title or BUST...I can't see how we win a Wild Card.

Lest we get ahead of ourselves, let's win two games back-to-back before we win the Super Bowl.
We're fans...nothing we do matters. We can dream and get ahead of the upcoming opponent all we want, will have no effect on the game at all.

Don't rain on our parade!o_O

I too bleed Ram blue...but every now and then reality does need to be checked. Win one and I' m happy. Win two in a row and I am excited, 3 and I am giddy, four and I too am doused in the koolaide. No rain showers on the parade, just overcast with an occasional drip of precipitation.

Honestly I think there is a better chance of this to get into the playoffs than the scenarios to get a wildcard spot!

These finishes are plausible minus Seattle IMO. They won't finish 1-3. They're getting hot right now.

Probably...But the Iggles are unbeaten at home, so that's one loss...Can the Niners beat the Hawks at CLink? I think they beat the collapsing Cardinals....So then it comes down to us. I sincerely believe our defense has turned a corner and is not the same as it was in the first few games this season. they were still "thinking" through Gregg Williams system and playing much slower than now. If it all comes down to the Rams vs Seahawks for the NFC West Title..WE WILL KILL THEM!

Sounds like it's coming down to OAK beating SF to have any shot. Is this right?
