I remember watching Agholor in the gauntlet drill and I was seriously impressed. He's a good player. This WR draft class is pretty stacked.

He worries me he is just another in a long line of prolific USC receivers who can't handle it physically in the NFL
i've had high hopes for Ronald Johnson, Damien Williams, Dwayne Jarrett, Patrick Turner, etc.....
hope Agholor turns out to be a great player. I still have hope for Lee

With the 87th pick, the Pittsburgh Steelers select...
Josh-Shaw-Injured-Saving-Nephew.jpg

Josh Shaw CB/S Southern Cal

Tough call for me between Shaw and Eric Rowe as both are big, athletic CBs that fit Pittsburgh's scheme and can play safety. But I think Shaw is more natural at CB at this point than Rowe.(although Rowe only has been there for one year and has gobs of upside)

Came into the draft knowing that I needed to fix Pittsburgh's disastrous CB situation and I feel pretty good about coming away with Rollins and Shaw.

Josh Shaw would have been rated a round 1-2 pick if it weren't for the lie he used to explain an injury. He owned it later, and everything I've heard since points to him moving on from his mistake. I almost took him at 72 - he's a steal at 87! I'm almost certain he won't last this long in the real draft. Great pick!

What don't you like about him? He was very productive, has good size, good hands....

Well, there's a very limited number of games of him available but the few big issues I had were that he doesn't play fast and while he makes a lot of tough, spectacular catches...in the one game that I really watched closely, he also had some big drops. They were of the concentration variety so it's not a big deal but for a guy who will make his money with his hands and route running, it was a tad disconcerting.

Plus, he has a really awkward looking gait when running and I felt he was running his routes a bit slower than you'd like.

But he's an explosive cutter and very effortless in changing directions. I'm just not sure what he is at the next level. Just kind of seemed Brandon Gibsonish to me.

He will never be a great player.
Think of him as a upgraded Stedman Bailey.
He needs to work on his hands but is a very good route runner. His job will be find creases, move the chains and a few times a season have a nice run after the catch.
If they play him outside he will not be very productive, He needs to stay away from the top CB's

The Denver Broncos select Josue Matias, OG, Florida State
Nice pickup, he didn't fair well at the combine, which will see him drop a little in the draft, but the guy didn't give up sacks, he was a 3 year starter on a very successful team...

Going defense again
Indianapolis Colts select Damarious Randall, S, Arizona State

Landon Collins is the top safety in this class, but there is no clear-cut No. 2 prospect at the position. It's a very weak group, but Damarious Randall could emerge as the second safety to be taken off the board. Randall's 4.46 40 (and 1.56 split) was terrific for a safety. He also did a good job in the drills.
Randall had a strong senior season with 101 tackles with three interceptions, eight passes broken up, two forced fumbles, 9.5 tackles for a loss and a sack. He has had a big presence for the Sun Devils' defense and stayed around the ball. Randall could have some free safety potential for the NFL. He had a strong week at the Senior Bowl and showed some coverage skills as a free safety.

Thompson, if he was a true strong safety, would be number one on my board. Unfortunately, he looks more like a WLB to me.

Okay, study long study....well Donovan Smith was stolen off my board...I really don't like any of these linemen left for this valuable pick...Could also go another LB or corner...and definitely need a safety to push Ha Ha....
Welp it's time, with Randell "I don't play for $8.5 million" Cobb really wanting the eff out of Wisconsin, I really wanted Nelson Agholor...damnit...but I'll settle and let the GB coaches develop
