Hmm... I'm not sure I like it.

I hear ya. I don't fear the competition because we have to beat teams like the eagles, vikes, and saints; but the way the schedule is laid out...

First off, unless you are playing in your home stadium, it's a road game. Period. I don't care how it is officially listed. That's why I count the Mexico game as a road game.

3 straight road games? I know the Rams beat jax, zona*, g-men, in a row; but 3 straight road games is tough. The Rams get it TWICE! Once in each half*.

When's the last time the cheatriots did that? When's the last time the cheatriots traveled outside the country and it counted as a HOME game?

That being said, we're gonna destroy the raiders opening night, proving that 10 year deal w/ chucky is gonna sink the raiders.

The greatest thing about the NFL is its parity. Let's not get too full ourselves. 29 other teams were marking down games against us as a "W" last year at this time.
Okay fine, the rest of you, don't go getting full of yourself. But as for me jrry32, too late, I'm always full of myself.

It's very possible, young up and coming team and QB and it's a second road game in a row after the bye.

...but 2nd yr QB vs OUR DL? If we are to be who we think we are gonna be...trabinsky makesthe following list.

QBs we might knock out for the season:
1) breakford (Zona)
2) new developing QBs like trabinsky (bears)and mahonnes (KC).
3) anybody think Wilson (seahawks) is sucking his thumb?
4) grabmypole (9ers) is about to come back to earth.
5) my favorite. Can't wait to discount double check rogers (gb)! There will be a NEW best cal QB in the NFL.

Well @jrry32

I only brought it up because there are many fans that still can't figure out why the Rams dominated on the Road in 2017 but yet laid some bad eggs at home.

It worked out better to have everybody leaving from the same location (hotel), riding the same bus, and getting to work at the same time.

Imagine 53 players struggling to get to the game from various domeciles throughout LA and the surrounding areas having no knowledge or experience moving around LA.

I actually heard what sounded like a very valid reason for this last year.

This was a team with a lotta new players (some rookies), a new coaching staff, and had brought in a few "pros" in the form of vets.

It seemed to have worked out better for the entire team to leave from the same place (the hotel), ride the same bus, and getting to work at work the time.

We play the Chargers and then the Vikes on Thursday night on only 3 days rest. That’ll be a challenge for the team I think. I haven’t even looked at the rest of the schedule yet!!
BUT, We get as a consequence we travel to Seattle in October, which I can't remember the last time we didn't go to CLink in December, with 10 days between the Vikings and the Hawks game.

For my own selfish reasons, this means 8 games on my Big screen HDTV TV this year. Five in the regular season and three in the playoffs..

Ticks me off the league gives us the same number of prime time games as the whiners. What happened to earning it?

When did we ever go 6-10 and even sniff a Sunday or Monday nighter?
They like the Protege Bowls, apparently. McVay vs Gruden and McVay vs Shanahan

Shit, You guys realize we only have 4 days after we face the Chargers to play the Viqueens on Thursday night football? FFS! Not the best team to face on a short week...

Yeah, but the Vikings have the same problem but worse. They have the Bills at home on Sunday, then have to travel to LA for TNF. At least the Rams won’t lose a day to traveling. Vikings will have less preparation time than the Rams.

Couldn’t find full data, but as of Nov. 22, 2017, home teams were 44-33 on TNF. So yeah, there’s a slight home field advantage. Also glad we don’t have to play the Vikings in their Thunderdome again.

Ok good to hear this! I was starting to think this game could have huge implications down the road with home field advantage and tie breakers with those bastards. I'd love nothing more than to treat them bastards to a L from last year at home! ( however I am still debating if I'd prefer to win against them or the eagles if I had to choose one..)

That's a really nice schedule. I'll be at the AZ game again in December when the weather's perfect.

No like .... means up late or day off work

Yep. 5 primetime games is no good for us Brits. It means I have to avoid finding out the score and watch it the next evening on game pass.

I preferred it when the Rams were crap and no one wanted to watch them.

Hate prime time games cause I wake up at 3am for work.

Hate home games cuz the field is trash.

Beside that the schedule is good.

I am trying to go to this game as well since I am visiting my Parents in Surprise the week before.

Only problem is that I would have to fly back to DC on Monday (gulp). Will not be looking forward to that.

You really need to set up your computer to work on your TV.

Real easy and the online streams last year were awesome for the most part.

A few hiccups and sometimes laggy, but overall mostly awesome.

I have a smart 65 inch Ultra HDTV and hooking it up with the HDMI cable was a fairly simple process.

Well, the Vikes will be playing the Rams on the road on 3 days rest. Two sides to that coin.

What I don't like is the 3 game road stretch with the final game against the 9ers.

I could see us win the first two and then limp into San Jose completely ragged out and lay an egg up there (and then be forced to listen to 9er fan.../wretch)

I also don't like the end of the season. 3 of the last 5 on the road.

I like our opponents, I think it should be a heckuva season.

I really don't like the logistics once that 3 game road stretch starts. From there until the end of the season, it's just plain ugly, imho.

But, then, if the Rams finish at 12-4 or above, they'll have really earned it. The end of the season will be a bit of a gauntlet for sure.

If we lose a game or worse, someone due to injury because of that bullshit field, I'm gonna lose it.

Like this guy...

Yeah, but the 12s can't relax. pucker up, boys!!

The league still seems to like to punish us with the home field stuff, though I see a lot of favorable travel this year! Least traveled team?
Yeah Oakland, Denver, Az, Seattle and SF means more than half our road games are short travel.
