Marshall's never coached before. How about he starts off as RB coach and see how that works out first??

A number of players and coaches have stated he was like having a coach on the field when he was playing, ... he's a pretty intelligent guy when it comes to the game. jmo.

Marshall has a cushy job as an analyst. Why would he want to ruin his life by starting a coaching climb where he has to live at work and be gone all the time? If that was his desired path he'd be doing it already.
No way I'd take a flyer on him. We need a good young mind under McVay who will crunch the tape and do all the detail work he did for Gruden, so he can have a little extra attention for the HC responsibilities. He'll still be heavily involved with the offense of course, but someone who can do some of the lifting for him.

The answer is "Yes BUT" I doubt Marshall would want to do it! Faulk, I'm sure, has the Football IQ, and Playing experience to succeed at any level of coaching he would desire to pursue!! I just don't see the desire!! JMHO

My answer is yes, because I believe Marshall could be a successful coach anywhere really. But I don't think he wants to.

Just because someone was an excellent player and has an excellent mind for the game doesn't mean they'll be a great coach or executive. Michael Jordan comes to mind.
That being said I think the guy should be Bill Callahan. He is known as a guy that can develop offensive line talent and you already have McVay to call plays. If the Rams want to ever succeed they have to build a great offensive line.

I think he could given how well he understands the game and the offense, we all know that it was like having another QB on the field with him.... So I voted for yes, and in he could be a great OC.
