I could not believe we got this guy in free agency , I follow the bills a little bit and he was a really good player for them .

He brings swag, and has been balling out this year .He might be the best nickel corner in the leauge. The team needs to resign him asap.

NRC, WEBSTER , JOHNSON , JOYNER

That is a great young secondary

Really hope we can sign NRC to a decent long term contract. Guy is a top Slot CB.

Yes NR-C is in big three Defensive UFA's in March. Boundary/Nickle Corner NRC......., Our safety who plays both posts plus the Nickle & in an emergency outside corner Lamarcus Johnson & top reserve safety who started many games & weathered many upper tier defensive snaps safety Cody Davis who also plays both safety posts.....all 3 will will cost a little more than one Trumaine Johnson contract. They are great fits in the Wade defense. Lets get them back ASAP!

NRC and Joyner are my top re-signings, if you don't count Donald.

I agree on those two being top re-sign priority. Needing one CB in the draft is bad enough.

Re: Donald... More and more I just feel like they're going to end up trading him. I just don't see them agreeing on a number, as I believe the guy feels slighted just my opinion here based on nothing but how he's seemed since he returned from his holdout. I think he'll hold out again and the Rams will deal him, or they'll deal him before it becomes an issue and maybe before the draft and then use those picks to reload some defense and maybe a LT.

You don't need a superstar DT to build a championship roster. But you do need CBs. That secondary needs some lovin.

The Rams defended 10 passes I think, he got three.

He has impeccable timing to the ball, and that's a skill.

I agree with most of what you say but I belive Webster while a good player his tendency to be injured may mean he doesn't come back next year

I agree NRC is a priority he may very well be our best corner maybe 1b but he reminds me of a poor mans version of the Jaguars corner a.j. Bouye (spelling???) maybe not so poor man lol

I love NRC man, I think he has been a monster for us this year. Even the 3rd down that Foles completed late, NRC was blanketing Agholor but Foles made a perfect throw.

While I feel that Joyner is one of the best safeties in the NFL and NRC is one of the best nicklebacks in the league, I honestly feel that Webster has been very average. He cant press and while he shows decent coverage at times, never really makes plays on the ball. Trumaine is a very hot and cold player. I think this year he has been playing selfish so he doesn't injure himself. He has not shown the same fire and finishing ability this year IMO. Understandable with his contract situation but I think we could do much better here given the contract he will receive.

I’m starting to think we need to move on from Johnson unless he’s the 2nd CB for 2nd tier money. If not kick rocks.

I hope for our sake you’re wrong about Donald. I would be so pissed I don’t even want to think about it. There is no way in hell we could come close to replacing him or get anything close to a return that would justify that. You just don’t trade generational talents like AD99. He does things and effects the game in ways that no other player in the entire NFL is capable of. Let’s get a legit edge rusher to pair with him and enjoy having the best defensive lineman in the nfl for years to come.

I hope I'm wrong too. But they weren't close in their numbers reportedly, and this next camp holdout might be very contentious. Gonna just wait and see but I don't feel positive about AD at this point.

Oh and re: not being able to come close to replacing him.... We don't know that.

He can holdout again if he chooses that’s the players right to do. Doesn’t really bother me at all. Would rather him not miss any games though but we will see.

That may be your opinion about being able to replace Donald but I don’t think it would be possible especially if we were recieving draft picks. Those are never a sure thing. Donald is a sure thing. A lock for the a Hall of Fame at the rate he’s going.

Resign Johnson and NRC and Joyner.
Johnson could lower his cap number with a longer deal actually. Spend the first round pick on a CB too.
Also sign D Poe and two LBs.
Now, just need the cap to go to $220M.

Allways has been a spunky player....I found it odd he was drafted like....I wanna guess after the 5th round....didn't keep up with him in the pros....until that 2 pick game vs us last year.

He was a 4 or 5 star recruit....from Florida...and always had that game.

Still, I don't think we're set up to re-sign guys like him at premium prices....not cb's that are mainly in the slot....that's udfa territory.

no...but it sure does help to have a future HOF'er out there at DE. LOL

We lose this guy...it's like losing Bettis, Dickerson, Greene.....huge loss. Chris Long was bad....this will be terrible....

And to your point....everyone in this game is replaceable...but this would be terrible.
