Had an argument with a Whiners fan recently. His reasons why the 49ers are the best team in the NFL were obviously crazy. Just a couple points:
  • Jimmy G is better then Tom Brady. TB12 was scared to lose his job so he forced the Patsies to trade him away
  • Deforest Buckner will end up being a better player then Aaron Donald
  • Richard Sherman is the best CB in the league
  • We have nobody who can cover their receivers
  • Jerrick McKinnon is also uncoverable out of the backfield
  • We have no receivers
  • Jared Goof sucks
So yeah, they’re pretty full of themselves this year.
Tell your friend i said he better go to dr. To check himself for a tumor causing his delusions! Those are just nuts and probably the craziest one is anout Deforrest Bunckner.

Ya, I’ve had to put up with this kind of crap all my life, living in SF territory.

Me too. As a matter of fact we live pretty close to each other.

I’d ask if you want to meet at a sports bar this year to watch a game, but I’m too afraid you’d try to hump my leg.

I have the NFL ticket so my brother comes over to watch the games with me. He brings his girlfriend with him and she and my wife hang out together.

I have a friend who's a whiner fan. He was singing the praises of Jimmy G saying the whiners would be contending for the NFC West title. I told him that his sample size was pretty small considering the whiners went 6-10 last season, even if they beat the Rams back ups.

But yesterday he was grumbling about the Rams signing Suh. I told him not to worry, I heard that Jimmy G is pretty adept and throwing passes while laying flat on his back.

Oh. So you’re busy. I’ll just have to keep letting my dog hump my leg, then.

Seriously though. I’m with you. NFL ticket. Nobody to bug me. Couple beers. I can rewind whenever I want to see a play again. I haven’t been to a sports bar in years. Not if I actually want to see the game, and hear the commentary.

So we're supposed to believe that Jimmy G. is the second coming of T. Brady? OVER HYPED!

So far as I can tell, he's nothing more than the second coming of C. Kaepernick:

Take a look at these numbers.

The last six games played in a 49ers uniform by new San Francisco quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo:

67.4 completion percentage
1,565 total yards
Seven touchdowns and 5 interceptions
96.2 passer rating

The last six games played in a 49ers uniform by former San Francisco quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

65.1 completion percentage
1,305 total yards
Nine touchdowns and 2 interceptions
96.2 passer rating

P.S. The other thing that those numbers tell us, is that there is and has been a coordinated effort to blackball a very capable NFL QB, which is pretty F-ed up in it's own right.
