Two weeks into the series (91-100 and 81-90)m no Rams name has been called YET.

Aaron Donald (#92 - 2015, should be considerably higher in 2016)

Robert Quinn (#44 in 2015, #13 in 2014)

The most obvious other Rams candidate to crack the list this year is 2015 rookie RB sensation Todd Gurley. He was billed as the best RB prospect since Adrian Peterson and proved as good as advertised.

Gurley is the best Rams RB since Hall of Famers Marshall Faulk and Eric Dickerson (with apologies to Steven Jackson and Jerome Bettis). If he didn't suffer the torn ACL, Gruden called him one of the top 2-3 most talented players in the entire 2015 draft at any position (and he might have gone in a comparable spot to Zeke Elliot in 2016).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Todd_Gurley

"Gurley was drafted 10th overall by the St. Louis Rams in the 2015 NFL Draft. Gurley's rehabilitation went ahead of schedule and during the team's preseason, while he did not play, he practiced without pads on. Soon after, Gurley was medically cleared for full contact by St. Louis team physicians. On Sept 27, 2015, he made his NFL debut against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was eased into action and finished the game with 6 rushes for 9 yards. The following week, the Rams visited the undefeated Arizona Cardinals for an NFC West divisional matchup. Again Gurley started slow with just 2 yards at halftime, but rushed for 144 yards in the second half as the Rams edged the Cardinals 24-22. The next three games against the Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns, and the San Francisco 49ers would see Gurley rush for at least 128 rushing yards per game. He scored his first NFL touchdown on Oct 25th, 2015 against the Browns. With 566 yards in his first four NFL starts, Gurley became the most prolific rusher in his first four NFL games since the AFL-NFL merger. Following the 27-6 win over the 49ers in week 8, Gurley's jersey and cleats were inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame."

I think it was the great Dickerson's record that Gurley broke.

* Who are the most likely Rams to break through in 2017?

I would say they primarily come from defense:

WLB Mark Barron
MLB Alec Ogletree
CB Trumaine Johnson

If Tavon Austin continues to improve, and is weaponized by Goff, he could be knocking on the door.

LT Greg Robinson has Pro Bowl-caliber athleticism if his technique catches up. And in terms of his physical traits, athletic gifts and skill set/game, Tyler Higbee could be a Travis Kelce/Jordan Cameron/Tyler Eifert mash up, and has the talent and upside if he fulfills his potential to be one of the top 5 receiving TEs in the league in a few years.

I think Austin was close last year anyway given the all purpose numbers he put up so you'd like to think that will only improve in 2016 with a potentially better offense. Barron, in my mind, is the most likely of the other 3 you've listed. He just finds his way to the backfield instinctively and consistently.

I am a little disappointed we didn't get a player in the bottom 20.

I think this does not bode well for us to get many players on the list beyond Donald and Gurley.

I thought someone like Tavon, Tru or Brockers might sneak in there. The Rams just generally don't get much recognition around the league. Winning will help that.

Watch. Rodney McLeod and Janoris will probably go top 50. o_O

:popcorn:I can't wait to see where Cook gets listed in the top 100.

Another XLNT Post @L.A.Rampant! I think Austin and Barron stand a good chance of making the 100 this year too! Along with Donald, Quinn, and Gurrrrley!!:snicker::shades::popcorn:

I'm thinking Gurley (40s) and Donald (10-1). Any others (Tavon) would have gone by now.

I think you a little low on your guesses! Gurley was the #3 rusher in the League last year, I'd put him in the 30's! Donald really was the BEST Defensive Interior Lineman in the League last year, I'll bet he goes in the Top 5! And I think Tavon goes in the next Batch of 10 this Wednesday!JMHO :D " And I sure hope Barron makes it too!!!(y):rimshot:

Donald SHOULD be top 5 and Gurley will definitely be on the list. Quinn should be, but with his injury - idk. Tru and Tavon probably won't be on the list.. but with another good year next year, they definitely will.

He fought with other members, got mod reports sent to us about him, argued with an admin about his behavior and was escorted from the premises, all in 24-hours.

Quinn won't be in the Top 100 this year..injured players don't make it I don't think..Gurley and Donald are mortal locks....Tavon? Kinda doubtful at this point

Unless your a Manning or Brady or close to that, injury won't matter. Even though that's stupid as hell. They have put players on before who were injured the majority of a season on the list. Manning won't this year cause he sucked.

I think Donald will be top 5, Gurley top 40, and that's it from the roster. I think Austin makes the lost next as he improves on his numbers. Quinn will also join the gang with his 17 sacks. And the dark horse to one in at #89???..Goff!!!! For his outstanding year which got him the ROD award and the Rams in the playoffs!!!

These things are all so arbitrary. We "should" have 6-8 players on a list like this.

6-8??? Who are these 6-8 players? I see 3 at tops. Only cause a punter will never make this list.
